I think the difference between the direwolves and the dragons was that the direwolves put more value in family (in the sense of the wolf loves and needs the pack), it's why they're so closely bonded to the Starks. It's not that they're less intelligent per say, but rather connected in a more intrinsic and bonded way (in some ways at least). We see how Drogon was a bit more resistant to Daenerys during a certain part of his life, but the wolves were always at the Starks' side, not to mention the Starks are wargs and melded with the wolves.

The Targaryens are truly their own worst enemy. All that beauty and power and they managed to destroy themselves in just under 300 years while the noble houses in Westeros ruled for thousands without the dragons.

To me Syrax is the fun and inquisitive one. Seems like she’s always flying (on joyrides) and carefree, a lot like Rhaenyra. Caraxes is more chill and laid back but deadly when need be.
I thought he was described as the opposite of chilled and laid back (cause they become like their riders and his rider is definitely not chilled and laid back)

Yes because they made Alicent and Rhaenyra the same age and Laena was “too young” for the king to marry. So laena can’t be the same age as Alicent and Rhaenyra. She’s gotta be younger

I hope they just do a small scene or something that shows how they feed the dragons or whatever system they have for feeding the dragons because it seemed like a BIG issue with Danny's Dragons killing villagers livestock and even children. It would be funny for it to be extremely trivial like they had a dragon feeder who just bought meats or collected animal tributes from the people to feed the dragon in a trivial manner.
Well it was said that the king's ruling was peaceful and prosperous and he did build up a lot of the kingdom and the dragonpit is functional and staffed in this era.
I imagine they had farmland and livestock that were meant as Dragon food.
it was an issue for Danerys because dragons had been extinct for so long there was no system in place.
I imagine it would be like how you feed a pet snake mice but on a bigger scale.

In the show, the Velaryon children are 12 years, Rheanreya is 15-16, assuming they kept the nine year difference between her and Alicent, this makes Rheanerya 15 at the start of the show and Alicent 24
I think show Rheanyra is supposed to be in her early teens so like 14 or 15.

I think this is due to the dragon pit limiting their growth. In GOT Drogon and the other two were free to roam so they grew huge very quickly I think

In the books Rhenerya was seven when she bonded with her dragon making her the youngest dragon rider in all of history and was named heir to the Iron Throne when was only Nine years old. This is an age difference between Rhenyra and Alicia too I believe.

So Cirsea's 'half-maester' didn't invent the Scorpion Bolts that killed two dragons in GoT? He or someone else only found architectural drawings from past empires and had them built to kill 2 out of 3 of Dany's dragons? No wonder Ser Gregor smashed his head on the stones in the Red Keep. You would think the her navy ships would have been built with the Scorpions mounted on them instead of the Iron Fleet. And if those drawings did exist, why didn't Queen Dany have them in her history books? That doesn't make sense because it was only 172 years between HotD and GoT. That technology would have been upgraded over 2 centuries, and not forgotten and dumped in a museum or basement. I really hate the GoT show makers and GRRM even more now.
I’m annoyed that they have two different actresses for Rhaenyra in this series that look so dramatically different that it breaks my brain to watch upcoming clips. You can’t slap a wig on someone and expect us to believe they’re the same. They could have aged up the actress to indicate the passage of time because her younger self doesn’t even look that childish. She looks like a mature teenager.
They look fairly similar. Besides, people change quite a bit during that age.
Honestly I'm gonna miss young rhaenyra she's Soo cute and feisty and I wish we could see her grow like with Daenerys but it wouldn't make sense to keep her the same with rhaenyra having at least five children in the story and they look related too me maybe like a aunt and niece like.
