As an Italian, I would like to mention the April 16th 2007 episode of RAW that took place in Milan cause it has so much importance for us Italians
The debut of Santino Marella
The commentary on vinces costume...bravo.
Yes. He looked goofy as hell to begin with.😂
Nice use of the Raw Theme From Papa Roach "To Be Loved" for the intro
mate that ending with the DX THEME and rage against the machine theme what a remix!!! Very well done lad :D
How sad is it that Rage Against the Machine became Rage on Behalf of the Machine in their old age. I miss these days
Facts.... he always makes sick af remixes, I wish like hell he would put up a playlist of them❤
@@plain_simple_garakrage for the machine
@@idcwhatuthink4985 they're available on his Patreon page.
*We Are the Machine*
OMG, I love that DX-Rage cut at the end! Everybody thought Rage did DX’s theme when I was a kid.
The Eric Bischoff spin the wheel matchups was always entertaining.
Raw roulette just a fun different episode
Yeah they were it kept things fresh and interesting. I wish they brang it back tbh
@@pleaseshutup7053yeah and I wish they brang it back
There was also the April 1, 2002 episode of RAW, which was the first post-Draft RAW. Then the May 6, 2002 episode, which was the first RAW under the WWE name.
RAW IS Owen really got to me. That’s when his death from the previous night sunk in for me 😕
Monday Night Raw on TSN was gigantic in 1997. It practically became the networks flagship program over hockey and baseball and everything else. Wrestling personalities were on TSN talk shows every week.
Rage with the DX mix is 🔥🔥🔥 you alwas on god mode with the mixes
The last reliving the war it will be bitter sweet when the episode arrives 👊
Yeah, but then we can watch it all over again :)
@@romibodoniThat’s what I’m talking about!!
I’m dreading that day
Tremendous video.
Do recommend to anyone who sees this that they check out William Regals podcast episode where he talked about the benoit tribute episode. He was walking in the room to give his thoughts while JBL was walking by him, where Regal says that JBL stopped and asked him if he thought Chris had anything to do with what happened over that weekend. This curbed Regals initial thought process , who was going to praise benoit more thoroughly - which is how we get the awkward and kinda unnerving interview with Regal that we got. I remember hearing rumblings wwe found out partway through the show about what really happened at the benoit residence but I don't know if that was confirmed or not.
Mr Mcmahon appreciation night 😂😂 that aged well
Agreed… but it already aged poorly two weeks later.
Kayfabe
Vince needs another one
He still deserves appreciation. You simp losers are ruining everything.
It aged perfectly fine
"McMahon Appreciation Night." LMAO. 🤣🤣
People who comment on others lol
@@WT1wL People who look for easy targets. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I like green peas
2:47 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don’t watch wrestling anymore but they’re really moving to Netflix? That’s crazy.
Yes
Just don't move Wrestling Bios to Netflix.
Smackdown gonna be on USA and nxt on cw. Raw on Netflix
How the mighty have fallen
It's really not shocking streaming is overtaking cable
Man. This guy is always dropping great content. Keep it up.
I remember watching that eddie Guerrero raw episode live as a kid crying the whole time.
I remember someone told me at school and I didn’t believe them
I was there for that show
Quite the somber crowd
Good matches, but the crowd wasn’t there usual selves
@@pleaseshutup7053Me too. 😔😖🤦♂️
8:41 Aliens vs Steve Blackman would an insane movie 😂😂😂
Suprised that the few raw shows in 97 that had ECW didn't make the cut. Hopefully they will. Great job as usual.
I'm also surprised that the WWE Vs. ECW Showdown or the ECW Funeral wasn't featured
@@chrisanarchia7620 The Showdown was a special on a Tuesday
I still can't fathom a world where Raw isn't on Monday Nights. It feels like a real ending of a generation.
Same...
And I haven't watched the WWF even once since 2004.
It is the end of an era, to be sure.
It's taking a while to get use to not watching it anymore. I know it did for me it's not the same anymore especially nowadays
It’s just not gonna be on tv nothing about it being moved to another day
@@gagemartin7207very true. Just weird knowing it's not gonna be on tradition TV anymore
It's still going to be on Monday nights. Nothing is changing.
I'm sorry, but I'm perfectly capable of celebrating the man's career without even acknowledging his final moments of life.
Eddie and Chris standing tall at the end of WMXX will always be one of my favorites moments in wrestling history.
On Peacock and the Network
The Jun 25th 2007 Episode of Raw is a Clip Show for the international feed
Man there was no Specials for the year of 2000? Such a shame.
But it was a highlight of the era's of Wrestling. "New Generation", "Attitude", and "Toothless Agression".
I actually remember watching the last WCW Nitro episode live. It was such a surreal experience.
And in 2001, I had no internet. So it hit like a truck !!
in Oz we got Raw on Tuesday, and Nitro every Friday
I remember being excited that it happened because I was always a WWF guy at heart despite watching both but in my shortsightedness and immaturity I didn't realize it was going leave us with a product that would steady degrade in quality and become complacent without any viable competition at the same level for 20+ years.
I have to watch that Raw in Japan show… that looks super fun.
Damien Demento... started it all...
Raw homecoming was such a great show that doesn't get talked about enough.
I always thought the 10th anniversary show was pretty neat for whatever reason, thought they’d keep doing things like that!
I like the shot of Jerry putting on the “rubber” glove next to criminal McMahon because in his next possible home nothing rubber will be used.
Love these kind of uploads. Thanks
Vince's look at Lawler with the glove on that Halloween Raw is.....beautiful. Future, pal!
The best RAW had to offer, especially 20th and 25th Anniversary old-school episodes
Never miss an upload your the man brother
The first RAW show in Atlanta in 1999, over 35,000 were there, finally broke thru WCW''s homebase
More bios is always fine by me.
Man those Tribute to the Troops events feel real haunting now
Always look forward to your stuff, I respect you, Bios-man! 😎
Benoit Tribute never aired in Australia, it's our only Raw since 1995 pulled before broadcast.
Great video, as always WB. I'm sure you get asked this question a lot, but do you have any plans once Reliving the War is done? Would you consider weekly Raw and Smackdown reviews? I know I'd definitely watch.
PS: That Rage Against the Machine/DX remix was fantastic!
I was at the Worcester show where the new set debuted. I think we were all in awe over what we were looking at.
the purchase of WCW was the worst thing that coulda happened for wrestling as a whole, but the fans n wrestlers alike suffered the most.
Wasn't expecting the Steve Mafuckin Blackman comment 😂😂
Likee this video. Can't wait to see another upload on more recent special Raw episodes
Wow 20 mins out and I caught it
Can not wait for the Netflix Live-Action adaptation of Raw.
BTW, the reason why those Friday Nights Main Event shows were due to the US Open Tennis games. The Dog Shows air in February.
love this channel. am i the only one who hears "Shrouded Hand" talking, tho? hahaha
Anyway, back to binging this stuff.
I picked the right time to watch this. And on my DAY OFF!
Yes Sunday video
I remember that 15th anniversary show
The March 10 1997 Titantron is my favorite one. Still to this day I have no Idea why It still hasn’t showed up un a 2K game yet.
Who knew Finn Bálor would pay tribute to “Pumpkin Doc Hendrix” all those years later!
Haa!
Didn't realize this was something of a mini-series until the most recent 3rd episode (2012-2015) was posted, now I'm going back to rewatch the other episodes.
😅👍
Where did the Blackman love start? I love it 😂
Awesome first time iam early for a Bios Video 🔥💯
It’s wild seeing you talk about raw after the war
Here we go ooooow!!!!!
Lol, I am watching prime Time wrestling season 3 episode 1, the Hart Foundation interview, Jim Niedhart calls Danny Davis "A Jam Up guy" 1987, gotta be a Canadian thing. And I know Niedhart isn't from Canada, but he did live there.
Peak WWF and WCW was best for business
King booker t was and still is THE MAN
Respecc!!
1:47 wow! Some effort went into that.
Every episode of Wrestling Bios is a special one to me, mate 🎉
I always marked so hard when The Patriot showed up on my TV. Guy was better than he gets credit for
Can’t forget the commercial free Raw from June in 2009 in part 2
Vince's costume on the Halloween episode exemplifies where he should be right now, how appropriate
I think the Raw after Sept 11 was something that should have been mentioned.
The one right after 9/11 was a smackdown. Was the raw a big deal too? I don't remember it being a big deal
@@michaelkeller5927 I forgot it was a Smackdown.
Killer intro! 😛🤘🏻
I started watching in 2007 and the first show I remember watching was the Benoit tribute show
Great show
A tribute to Benoit was really stupid in retrospect.
He will never be forgotten.
@@Matthew-qu1qlshut up
It wasn't too long after I started watching. My first was the night after WrestleMania 24, Ric Flair's retirement night.
I liked Raw Roulette and watching this Video reminded me how I still would like to know what a "It's legal in Nevada Match" is.
Because when you think roulette, you think Salt Lake City.😆
Did you know the March 10th, 1997 episode of Raw aka 1st Raw Is War was also the 200nd episode of Monday Night Raw?
I still have the Raw Bowl episode on a videotape somewhere, I also used that tape to record a couple episodes of the Mega Man cartoon. 😅
Also, yes, the 1997-1998 basic iterations of the Raw Is War set and the overall visual theme they went with will forever be the best look the show ever had. It literally never looked more "raw."
I loved it when Diesel beat Mabel in a blink of an eye.
8:33 - This show aired on my lil sis Birthday.
You really should drop the intro and outro musics man, they are fire
I can’t keep up with this channel. But I try. 😂
Seeing Vinny Mac on nitro was one of the craziest things I can remember happening in wrestling at the time. I had the privilege to be at that first tribute to the troops from Iraq as I was deployed at the time met Kevin Nash and the Hardy boys that day
The end of Raw is OWEN is so powerful & showed how much Owen was respected and loved, and the fact Austin managed to portray all that without saying a word.
The Friday Night's Main Event specials were rebadged as Raw episodes outside the States, so they do count depending on where a viewer lives.
I looked at 2 raw roulette episodes including the night CM punk did his pipebomb in 2011 on my podcast
I remember seeing Shane McMahon on WCW was mind-blowingly awesome! World's had truly collided
Michael Hayes looks like King Diamond @ 3:20.
Where can you find the Friday night mainevent full shows
The Simulcast is my favorite episode of Raw.
Lmao prophetic costume Vince
What makes me sad Owen Hart vs British Bulldog was outstanding and sadly they have both passed away.
I see what you did there with the Owen/Bulldog European Title match. Dont think we didnt catch it lol
I hated the late 1995 intro😢
The first ever Raw in Japan was something! But how about the first every Raw in the U.K.? in Manchester. As you know before then they did house shows and Sky Box office PPVs when they came to the U.K., when they finally brought Raw and SmackDown I was so happy. I was there at the first ever SmackDown, the Undertaker showed up but wasn’t shown on TV.
I’ve been to a few but my favourite and one of the best shows was in Manchester, Raw (forgot what year) when DX was there and trying to get tickets to get in to Raw. Amazing!
Tajiri and Regal wee such a great team
You forgot WWE vs ECW from 2006
Genuinely think it'd be cool episode if you cover it
I mean it really wasn't a Raw Special, WWE vs ECW was it's own show
The raw bowl took place on 1/1/95 where there is a lot of college football games taking place. It didn’t air after the Super Bowl.
Can you do a special episodes of SmackDown (1999-2007)? I really enjoyed the special episodes of Raw (1993-2007).
I like seeing Bruno(Harvey) in the WWF makes me smile
ALWAYS DOWN FOR MORE
WRESTLING BIO'S
If you can do Smackdown Special Episodes, I and the community would appreciate it!
The ECW episode of raw was special
Wow, I actually didn’t know raw ever aired on a night other than Monday.. started watching wrestling around 98-99 and was only 8-9 yrs old.
Haa! 18:56
Woh, I've never seen John Cena look so small before.
😄👍
