    I've been Carnivore 18 months total, 4 of those months I've done lion diet, but always have low energy, I've tried having more salt, and even stopping it completely for a month, i have very little energy no matter what, also tried having fattier meat, and leaner for an extended period, but nothing works, even tried adding some liver , I'm a real freak lol

    I’m totally someone who needs sodium. Thank you for your videos. I watched your testimony. It was heartbreaking yet so inspiring. I would be so proud of you if you were my daughter and you could be at your age. Congratulations on overcoming everything that you did…say a prayer for me I’m just starting carnivore lol. ❤

    Energy has been a huge problem for me for decades on the SAD diet. I like coffee as it was my companion all those years. I have amazing energy on carnivore so coffee isn't needed. When I have coffee now I get very thirsty, tired, and the motility increase isn't fun even at 1/4 the coffee scoops in my morning brew. I bought a caffeine supplement from GNC which gives none of these issues and all the sharpening benefit. Try cutting coffee and if you're like me consider a caffeine supplement as a alternative until you can see the difference as that might be the stuff in coffee that's still sapping you.

After started carnivore I stopped taking Levothyroxine. Now my TSH is 7.19 which is high. My T4 5.5, T4 free 1.2 , T3 free 3.1 and t3 total 93 which all are in normal range. My doctor prescribed me Levothyroxine again. I need your help to fix my thyroid!

    Just started keto and I’m experiencing extreme irritability. I hope it goes away soon 😢 I don’t want to be with people because I’m just so angry and annoyed all the time.

      Hey friend. Check out my Carnivore Insomnia video. Sounds like you may benefit from electrolytes as well 💖
      Be sure to practice good sleep hygeine (using light to support circadian rhythm).

    I appreciate your information on these videos! 🙏🏻 Something I have trouble with is appetite. I can’t imagine eating the quantity of food that many Carnivore experts eat! Can I build up to that slowly?

    Eat enough protein in one sitting to bump up insulin enough so you dont have to buy expensive "mineral powders". This might be part of why people like Baker and Chaffee seem to do so well, large amounts of red meat in one sitting. I'm just trying to figure it out like my life depends on it.

    So with oxalate dumping you recommend not adding carbs to slow dumping but taking charcoal to bind them instead?

    • @rebekahheishman-tailoredke8939
      @rebekahheishman-tailoredke8939  Před 4 měsíci +2

      Carbs are not going to bind. A small amount of oxalate (50mg), citric acid and calcium citrate can help to bind oxalate!

    question for a topic
    topic: is it possible to do prolonged high intensity workouts on the carnivore diet (Been carnivore 4 years) , i.e MMA
    I was reading about glucose being used for fast twitch muscle fibers and after being on the carnivore diet again for four years I started MMA training again and I feel very tired, this could also be me just coming back to the sport but , I was just wondering if fast twitch muscle fibers can use ketones, which we have an abundance of in the carnivore diet, after we have depleted our small glucose stores.
    I cant find anything in the scientific literature saying that we can use ketones for FAST twitch muscle fibers, and nothing about the carnivore/Keto diet on PROLONGED high intensity workouts in general, whether performance is better than a conventional diet AFTER adaptation
    thoughts?
    can you do a video on this?

    I always have loads of energy. I used to have some explosive diarrhea.. but now I eat a whole ton of meat and recently upped my fat and I feel like I rarely poop. I don't understand this at all

    • @rebekahheishman-tailoredke8939
      @rebekahheishman-tailoredke8939  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Sometimes it's the opposite! 🤷‍♀️ You may benefit from more electrolytes? Or you may be eating less meat now that youre higher fat (so less waste).

    Anything more than a 90/10 ratio makes me miserable. I'm at 60 days of clean carn. I need electrolytes but increasing them even more didn't seem to make a difference. The problem is that I can't get to that 1g/lb of protein with this high ratio. Any similar experience with your clients?

      @@rebekahheishman-tailoredke8939 well since I'm trying to gain and not lose weight I was eating between 120g/150g of protein and twice as much fat per day. The problem was that I was feeling really tired and dizzy for most of the day and it kept happening for the first month and a half. I tried many things but nothing worked until I got my protein to a much lower level and divided it in 4 small meals.(each meal has around 25g of protein and 70 of fat for a total of 100g of protein a day). This is lower than the 140g a day I was trying to achieve. And I suppose that I started to feel better just because this macro allowed me to be in ketosis. Did you have any similar experience with people who had to lower their protein to make it work?
