Greetings from Finland! Im driving 1.6 litre 200 hp Insignia (model year 2019) and its such a good car 👍🏻 Not a sports car but for daily driver in motorway its surely one of the best on that price range and class.
I drove the pre-facelift for a while and I prefer it! The DRL "signature" is better, the power is more, the AWD is always on in general the only weak point was the low graphic quality of the rear view camera. And I'm fully disagree on the seats - they are awesome. After 4-5 hour non stop driving I had no issues with the back and I have problem with it. They are AGR rated and they are absolute bless! Having in mind this is the last real Opel (yes it is GM but real Opel) I might turn back to some second hand GSI of the pre-face lift version as it is really al the car you'll ever need.
Disappointing how the "new" engine (it's still GM 2.0 LTG as far as I know) has only 230HP, when GSi before 2020 made 260HP. Not to mention the OPC model with over 300HP. Similarly disappointing is that there doesn't seem to be a remap available for this engine. It makes me question if the 9-speed transmission can handle more than 350 Nm of torque.
