I just did a black diamond in my stock 03 XE. These really are some amazing rigs. Sadly the plastic bumper cap did take a little damage when I bottomed out on a deep rut.
That’s how my 08 jeep liberty is completely underrated but people forget it shares the same suspension as the wrangler. Only downside is the independent front suspension That is shared with the jeep Cherokee
Nice work. With IFS you gotta have skill and pick good lines like you did. I did it a couple weeks ago in my 04 Expedition, spent alot of time on 3 wheels (my Jeep buddy didn't spin a tire the whole day).
Always funny how camera angles make things look easier than they are, I'll bet this is way steeper than the video shows. Super cool that a stock P4X can do this, I have a 2010 Off-Road
Looking to pick up my first Xterra and start overlanding come spring time. I'm currently looking at 1st Gen XE models. I'll probably stick with a body lift, and some 33's, that's about it. Maybe cut the bumpers for some extra front/rear clearance. Maybe a homemade skid plate for the front. Any opinions on that choice of vehicle, or whether I should get a different trim model/model year? I've heard the Pro-4x is one of the best editions to get, but there's none for sale locally within my price range (trying to keep the vehicle price around $2,000-$2,500). No matter what I get will be 4x4, as I intend to use it in the snow as well.
In my opinion, the second gen xterra pro-4x is the way to go. Though it’ll be over your price range. If you’re set on the first gen xterra, you’ll still definitely be able to start overlanding with it.
Great video. I’ve got a 2011 Pro 4x. Too bad they don’t make these bad boys anymore. 6” extra length and a bit better fuel economy and it would be even better!
Great job man, I love these Xterras! Did you have to use the Rear Locker a lot? can a regular Xterra SE make this trail or was the pro4x locker needed?
Ok this is cool but what size tires are those? I have a stock 2005 Xterra and was told the 285/75R16 was the biggest tire I could fit with the stock suspension and in this video I see 305/70R16 🤔
The most underrated offroad vehicle
Couldn’t agree with you more
YESSS THANK YOU I GOT THE 2007 4.0 V6 AWD XTERRA AND I CHANGED THE AIR FILTER TO A K&N AND IM MAKIN 270 HP AUTOMATIC 400 pft
Agree 2005 S stilll running strong on and off road .
Absolutely love my 2011 Xterra PRO-4X!
Definitely one of my favorite vehicle, I’ve owned.
The X-terra deserves more respect.
It definitely does. Xterras are so capable off-road.
I love it. I have a 2010 Xterra off road. Nice to see how well it does in stock form.
It’s pretty capable.
Some really good spotters 👍
Yes, made it out with no damage.
Awesome! It's Brandon from that day's run. Great video!
Thanks Brandon! It was great meeting the other local Nissan 4wds.
Most people don't know the XTerra and Toyo tires are both made in USA
Love me some Xterra
Proud owner, they’re so underrated.

I would’ve loved to see that first gen in action.

Thanks! Yes, picking good lines is a must with ifs. It’s also a nice skills to have in any rig, to avoid trail damage or vehicle damage.
Stuck? That's impressive 👏
Nice one 👍 👌
Thanks

That’s usually the case. Thanks for watching!
ya.. 2N17X is straight up into the air...
@@LexusGX460-OFF-ROAD It’s nerve racking when the only thing you see is the sky through your windshield lol
Do those tires fit with no modifications whatsoever?
Good stuff here. I’ve been to this spot, I have Fronty that is Titan swapped. Cheers bud 🍺
Hey hard enduro, I’ve chat with you before and watched some of your videos. Cheers🍻
@@xbenture awesome. We’ll have to get some rides in. Let me know
We definitely have to do some ride.

That 2nd moto roosting pebbles into your paint job is an every loving prick of a human being.
@@butchgreene Yeah, we noticed that too.
Nice ride, what year and good job on making it through the trail
Thanks! It’s my friend Eddie’s 11’ Xterra. I have a 2013’ in the other videos.
Great video. I’ve got a 2011 Pro 4x. Too bad they don’t make these bad boys anymore. 6” extra length and a bit better fuel economy and it would be even better!
Thanks! I agree, I think it’ll help put Nissan back in the map.
How good are the xterras are they worth the money. Like to buy a pro 4x

On my other videos, there’s another guy with an SE and he did well on this trail.
@@xbenture oh no way. I have a lifted SE but I’ve been too scared to take it anywhere dangerous. I’m glad to hear that I’ll check out the vids !
@@johnmason3861 Just air down, put it in 4lo and take good lines. They’re pretty capable off-road.
@@xbenture adventure awaits, I usually lower it to about 25, 33's all terrain
stock 33s?

Actually I just looked it up and compared to the 285 tires I have the 305 is just a little wider. Do they rub much?
@@shadowswordairsofteast Yes they’re about the same diameter. You just need to do some minor trimming and do the melt mod.
@xbenture If I still lived in California I definitely would have taken my Xterra there.
@@shadowswordairsofteast If you ever come back and visit, let’s hit this trail
Spotters 😳
Yes one too many on that one section, but the xterra made it out
Looks like the road to grandmas house
How did you get 305/70 16's on there?!?!?
I’m was wondering that myself, but it’s just equivalent to 33” tires.
Did you have to do any cutting to fit those tires?
It’s my friend’s xterra. He said he hasn’t done any cutting and it does rub.
is this some sort of xterra offroad group in socal? how can i join?
We’re on facebook Nissan_4Lo
Why did you keep turning off your locker?!?! Also, @4:45 it was very risky straddling that big rock. Doubly without the locker engaged.
That looks like mine
Those guys couldn't spot an elephant at 3 feet.
What year is this.
It’s a 2011
where is this?
By silverwood lake recreation
definitely needs a lift to fit those tires
Planning on it
Spotter, DO NOT stand in front of the vehicle!
I did it with my no pro xterra, no damage
Heck yeah
The tow hitch should be removed.
