I fell on your channel by accident. I put you on the background screen to cheer me up a bit while doing work activities. I laugh because I literally did a couple of things here and there and when I saw the screen again you had built a fucking industrial city I don't know what the hell. Brilliant
My first rocket launch took 70 hours....and it seems like it takes longer with each new save file. I keep learning ways to optimize better and play around with building. Ultimately though, it's about the journey.

You go and take a shit to the bathroom. Your rocket crashed and you are stuck in dirt. After two hours of digging yourself out you see a robot bringing your morning coffe and your bro greets you and tells you about your little accident but it's fine he already made another rocket. You asked where is the rocket. After a few minutes of travelling through the factory your buddy shows you the rocket silo but he also tells you that he already sent it to space for some of his experiments which is fine because in a few seconds there should be another ready to go if you must. It's just rocket science no biggie
The enemies did not have time to understand anything: the guy suddenly landed and then immediately flew away. ps: yes, I understand that he played without them, but I like to think that it is not :D
'any%' category means that you can choose a map and tweak the settings to be optimized for fast completion (no enemies, big ressources etc) Theres also 'default settings' category which means you play with default settings and a random map If you look at Nefrum's channel for 'default' runs you can see the difference
Any% Reach the end of the game by any means possible; glitching or complete just enough to get to the end, not 100% of it. That's why it's called any% because it doesn't matter how much of the ingame goals or research you reach as long as u finish the game.

Exactly. "Any%" refers to beating the game the fastest way humanly possible, usually without 100% kills or secrets, and with glitch exploitation. Since Factorio has no secrets to speak of, any% is played without biters (nothing to kill is spawned ever), with plentiful resources, and a particularly favorable seed is picked, where the resources are right next to the crash site and usually overlapping a bit. For your personal TINS run, you should use the same approach, or one _with_ biters but maximized safe zone if you need some biter-related achies in the same run (like "It stinks" which doesn't work if biters are peaceful either).
I belive it's either f3 or f4, it will pull up a debug menu that you can pick loads of options for. It will also display the fps and ups in the corner while you have the menu up, by default.
