@@FrenchinPlainSight bon en fait je me considerais assez bien en francais puisque j'ai etudie et travaille en France il y a pas mal d'annees mais maintenant j'utilise CZcams et votre chaine pour le refraichir! Ce qui s'est passe est que le fait d'avoir appris le francais m'avais donne l'envie d'apprendre une autre langue (l'espagnole) et maintenant mon niveau d'espagnole et bcp plus advance que le francais 🤦

En fait, on ne dit pas "ça étant dit". Dans ce cas, on utilise plutôt la "forme pleine" de ça, cela. Cela étant dit... ;-)

Another nice phrase with ça is: Ça roule, ma poule! Have You ever heard it or used it? I used it to confirm a date with my niece!
Yep I hear it and use it sometimes. Ça roule on it's on is a good alternative to Ça va ? and as a response :)

Very helpful. One question: when I use "it sucks" in English, it's very slangy and a bit rude, so I'd be careful how I use it. Is it the same in French?
Fascinating! I suppose it depends on your social circle and your personal preferences. I don't have the same feeling about "it sucks" in English. For me, it's perfectly fine to use with anyone you're vaguely informal with, and doesn't have a rude connotation.
I think it is the same register in French, yes. Use your best judgement. :)
_Ça craint_ is not rude, but it's colloquial. So, you should use it in an informal setting.
