Building a backyard MTB pumptrack for my kids!

- I always thought we would build a jungle gym or swingset up behind the garage-that's an area close to the house, and so it's only fair that Mrs. Bike Hacks has a say in what goes up there. Well, suddenly she's okay with a pumptrack for the kids! What I ended up building resembles a pumptrack, but it's really a downhill track, as gravity takes you from the top to the bottom, with a short push back up at the end. We can continue altering and adding to this as time goes on, which is a really exciting prospect.

This was a really satisfying build for me, as it's currently being enjoyed every day. I hope it shows through!

I bet that track would be fun to rip around on with RC cars
I bet he thought the same 😆
Same, it's inevitable
@@LaurentiusTriarius I believe he has a Traxxas Maxx, which I believe would be great on that track, as I would do the same with mine

Don't tempt him 😑
I hope people realize how much hard work you put into this. You're a pretty awesome dad!
I think you meant; a super* awesome dad 😊
I noticed. I'm totally not over here almost crying out of jealousy because of how bad of a family life I had at her age. Kudos to him and Mrs. Bike Hacks for doing what seems like an A+++ job at parenting.
Just the mulch alone is a hard job to do, amazes me how fast he does this stuff
Thanks! My kids will 100% grow up thinking backyards are supposed to have pump tracks, but hopefully they'll see this video posted 10 years ago, read your comment, and think for a moment.
I would have loved to have Seth as a dad growing up! This is awesome!
I love the way Seth respects kids' privacy. Great video.
For sure
As it should be. Man I have huge respect for seth
Only a really great dad goes from "I wOn'T bE dOinG bUiLd ViDeOs" two videos ago to doing an excellent backyard trail for his children. Seth always makes me smile. Great vid. Love it.
Build videos are still my favorite
I thought he said biking videos...
@@username9999Go read the top comment on that vid and his reply

Same Seth :) @@SethsBikeHacks
This gave me early berm peak feels, when you first got the property. You did a great job. Absolutely love it
nice to see that your family is getting bigger(so you can build more bike stuff for the kids).
More toddler bikes Seth can rip incomming!!
If Seth ever decides to sell this house, it’s going to be a paradise for a mountain bike family.
Unless the people who buy it couldn't careless about bikes and tear down every thing near the house and leave the rest to rot.
I doubt he will ever sell this place though
I doubt he would sell it to such people ^^@@typhoon1575
@@typhoon1575he would probably sell the house to someone who will use it to its potential and sees the the value in the property
@@Pavs_Detailing Isn't that what we said about the Berm Creek house?
The sheer amount of physical effort you put into this is mind-boggling, and the result looks both fun and aesthetically pleasing.
Your kids will cherish the memories of riding that track their whole lives, well done :)
and they always can watch how all the stuff was build by their younger dad :D
It was fun to see a little return to trail building on Berm Peak.
Fantastic build mate. Makes this city kid want to move to the country. Blowout...GOLD
I really missed the Berm Peak build videos, so glad to have another one
It'll be so cool in a few years to see your daughter go from this to her dads trails 🔥
Finally more building videos👍
haha i feel like that gator is such a trooper. the amount of stuff it's hauled and things it's done and it just keeps coming back for more!
you get the dad of the year award. well done buddy. 🚴♀
Build and ride is back! These are my favorite kind of videos, where you start with a vision and by the end, it’s right in front of you ready to be ridden.
I think this is just as big a dream for every bike guy as the rest of Berm Peak. Every dad wants to have the kids love bikes and build them a spot at the house. Love it!!!
Dude that 360 was crazy!!!
Seth you never cease to impress me! You are a great content maker, great spouse, great dad, and just a great all around person! Proud to be a subscriber!!
Looks awesome Seth, and HUGE CONGRATS on your new son🎉❤
Thanks so much!!
I'm just in awe... I'm like between being jealous of your kids, jealous for my kid, having back pain just by looking at you; but most importantly I'm being happy for your kids as heck!!
Congrats to you and Amy for your second born, by the way! I wish you all the best.
Yes back to trail builds. My favorite part about this channel!
A build video! You definitely are the best at filming build videos.
Love the trail building I know you said the effort vs views make these videos not really pay off, but I love them.
You're a great dad Seth! Tons of memories and new tricks from the kiddos about to happen here! Love it.
Thats actually so cool... Its awesome seeing his daughter growing up and slowly getting mre and more into MTB, and seth is there to aid her progress
Best Dad Ever
I remember discovering u 5 yrs ago, then i got so busy at work and couldnt watch u or even go for a ride on a trail for 3 yrs, now seeing u have a family makes me so happy. Keep shredding my dude
You keep riding too!
@@davekal i am, actually, back to shredding
As a new dad, this is easily one of my favorite projects you’ve done. Amazing work 🙌🏻
The things we do for our kids. Thanks for sharing what you built. Great job.
Congrats on kid #2 Seth! 🎉
Man, every time I watch these videos I’m very impressed how much power you pack for a guy your size. Great job on the track!
Thank you Seth for getting me seriously into MTB. My health and well-being skyrocketed since I started religiously hitting the trails. 🤙
Investing in your families fun, memories and fitness is always worth it!! Pump Track birthday parties in the future!! Plus a great track for the RC cars as someone else stated. Added bonus.
Definitely puts you on the list for Dad of the Year. Well Done!!!
Looks like a sweet place to hang out and in the future maybe put in a trail off the back that takes you into the woods, congrats on the growing family
I love these videos. Looking forward to future additions to this area.
Some plants would probably go a long way in increasing the wife-approval factor (and generally make it look nicer for non Mountainbikers.)
Best
Dad
Ever
(And great support from Mrs Bike Hax)
Gator with a dump bed. That’s living. 👍🏻 End result is excellent! Well done.
It's crazy how far seth has come man been along since berm creek!!!
Seth you make the best mtb vids on CZcams 🤟
This is so rad. Those kids are gonna look back when theyre older and grasp how sick that is to have out their back yard for sure.
I can't believe we finally have a place to warm up before filming on Berm Peak's features!!
Things have certainly come a long way since the early days. Awesome to see the progression and it's great to see you having all the space to do these things now!
LOVE THIS!! What an incredible dad! You should be proud of this build! Kudos!
Wow a lot of work goes into that ! So healthy for kids to ride from such small age! Youare an awesome dad
Now THIS is the content that I came here for!
The amount of creativity, work and smiles that this pump track delivers is upstanding. Fantastic execution Seth!
I love this content Seth, this reminds me of the Berm Creek days! Simple builds with high production quality. You’re a great dad man, awesome job!
Agreed, but this was anything but a simple build. Even with some medium machinery that still looked like a crazy amount of work!
Seth, you are an 1 man army my dude!!!

Wow - what a dream environment for kids - I absolutely would have loved this as a kid.
This is wonderful, Seth! You're an amazing parent and track builder. The outdoor space you just created is wonderful and I cannot wait to see what it looks like once the grass comes in!
Glad to see more track stuff, amazing content!
Great dad achievement. My dad was that way 50 years ago. Best part of life is being a dad.
A true labor of love. Good dad.
It feel’s illegal to be this early 💀

Wait he has a son now?
yess
All the work it takes + filming everything and after editing it, OMFG. Hats down, Seth, great job done there.
Dad Seth is on another level. Nice build!
Living the dream! Such a cool way to connect with your kid.
Name it "Toddler Peak"
Another reason why Seth and his channel is the best, a quality video with quality content. Often imitated, but never duplicated.
Daddy bike hack for you Seth - when our kids were at that stage, we out little bear bells on their bikes, it was a great way of keeping track of where they were without visual contact. Also gave us a heads up when they were gunning for the back of our ankles!
man that ending. She was ripping it down there real nice. Great addition, Seth!
Thats incredible! I see podiums and your kods future. What great job on making a fantasy come true. 💯👍
Oh man, Track building, Even a kids track is just so much fun. Watching Seth go to work on a project is all the reason I subscribe ahahaha.
One of the most satisfying BP videos in a while! loved the gravel time lapse shots.

Appreciate the trail build vid!! I know it’s a lot of work, the building and filming. Thanks for taking the time to do it!
Magnificent! This make the three little rollers I built for my daughter look like chump change, lol! My little girl is actually getting her first push bike today her 2nd birthday. Perfect timing on the video, because I'm pumped!
Mrs. Bike hacks is one blessed lady!
Just awesome. Dad of the year award!
