Chemmanakari is a beautiful coastal village in kerala. It is located in Kottayam district in vaikom taluk.It is a place surrounded by vembanad backwater on three sides. Chemmanakari is a great place for boating and fishing in the backwaters. A famous hospital and resort is located here. Most of the people here are fishermen.There is a jungar servive from here to a place in alappuzha district.
