First Derek, now Chris. I see a pattern. Is Jordan starting a bulk soon? 😂
The bulk is probably how he plans on winning his battle to hold on to his clinician's license lmao -- use his upgraded physique to intimidate those feeble judges into ruling in his favour 😂
There's a meme about some ancient philosopher who would flex and pose mid debate. It would probably apply here to 😆
The bulk is gonna be insane
Sam sulek is definitely next

Bro! How did you think of this. You’re funny as hell
It's such a privilege to be able to see one of the greatest bodybuilders of all time have a chat with Chris Bumstead
😂
@@paufishing3782 To be fair, I've never seen Dr. Peterson wear a t-shirt before, so who knows, maybe he genuinely is a physical specimen but he just never lets us see it 😂

The collab nobody was expecting, but everybody needed
I was like wow this wasn't expected at all.
After the episode with Derek MPMD I'm honestly not that surprised that Peterson did one with CBum lol -- I figured it was only a matter of time but I thought it'd be another few weeks or so until this episode dropped!
The comment everybody expected, but no one needed

@@piquedcommenter6252 dude, how many times a week do you see the same comment?
C'mon, be original and speak your soul out or shut the f up.

The best part of the interview?
Watching Dr Peterson write down notes when he didn't know something. That's a desire for knowledge.
Absolutely❤
As opposed to some in the comments that wouldn't understand desiring to broaden the mind.
he takes notes in every talk he has with any person
Also makes for a great psychologist!
I imagine it’s a habit from being a psychologist as he would essentially be ‘interviewing’ his patients in a similar manner. It makes great sense as then you can actually ‘build’ on the interview and make ‘progress’ with the conversation not just go from one random topic to another.
Our father and our daddy in one room
Yas lol
That's pathetic.
This comment will rise to the top and I will be here to witness it.

Bumstead needs his own podcast. So articulate and collected in his delivery. Love this guy.
they have a podcast and he's in most of them, search raw nutrition podcast and you should find it!
Tho articulated. That should be the name
As a gym rat, I can confirm that the real-life fitness community (not influencer culture) is the most supportive place you can be. I hope more people find a gym after this interview.
I agree man, was doing incline dumbbell press, and was needing two more reps, and was about to dump the weights when I had once more, and this random guy came by the help!

This combo is CRAZY
Physical and intellectual idol :D
I never imagined that Dr. Peterson would interview the Mr. Olympia. This is amazing!!!
Imagination is there to imagine
The way Chris smiled when Jordan said "you're about to become a father. That's gonna keep you busy."
This channel is undeniably one of the sources of true modern wisdom.

The crossover we needed!!
Better than the Avengers & Justice League teaming up right? ❤️
The greatest mind and the greatest body. CBum was probably the second guy I ever subscribed to back in 2019 and I’ve listened to probably everything Jordan has had to say in that time.
My mind is exploding.
It's like the time Soundgarden did Saturday Night Live while Jim Carry was hosting ✊️
Greatest mind? 😂😂😂
@StoicMiles It's just a saying, but name one. Who's your greatest mind. Vaush?
@@ChantelJordan-fm7kx I have no clue who that is.
Damn... CBum and JP? Can't get any better than this ❤
Chris is such an amazing individual. So raw, real and compassionate. He’s a true gentle giant.
@35:41 Jordan makes an excellent point about being nervous when you know you’re not the most nervous there.
Perfect example. I work on the ambulance and it can get nerve racking sometimes. Wondering what event might happen or trying to stay mentally prepared. It’s hard.
Yet, when we have a student riding out with us who is absolutely petrified, I notice I am at complete ease because now I have a different job to do, navigating them.
100% true statement from Jordan.
Great example, thanks!

The ultimate crossover nobody ever expected
I’m pretty sure you can expect Jordan to interview anyone successful at this point.
I don't know. Have you seen Chris do cable crossovers?
Watching JBP interview someone so outside of his areas of interest and experience is utterly fascinating
Chris is this generations Arnold. He'll bring bodybuilding back into the limelight and mainstream. It grows and furthers the sport I and millions of others already partake in and love.
He’s better. The more I find out about Arnold the more I realize he is a scum bag.
The Canadians Canada needs.
Never realised how much JP truly listens and is interested in every little detail, truly awesome to see
I did not realize what a great man Chris is. A pleasure to listen to.
The main reason, I think, why people love Chris Bumstead so much is that he has very relatable personality with insecurities and fears, and that he SHOWS them and OVERCOMES them. It is actually corageous and admirable. Also, Chris is just a cool guy and humble. Perfect personality to represent the sport.
Cbum explaining to Jordan Peterson what bulking and cutting is the best thing ive seen all week
I’m glad Jordan is peeking through the fitness door rn, lot of good people there it’s cool to see how he is interested in these peoples lives
Whoever the cinematographer for JP is, he's a master of the art
The color and lighting is perfect.
I love the combination of spirituality, mentality and physicality in this dicussion. It is so human.
The daddy everyone wants & the daddy that everyone needs in 1 podcast 💯
Okay I feel weird being a grow man calling them “daddy” but DAMN this is a cool combo of human 👌🏼
jordan's next video: "My first Tren cycle at the age of 61"
I have a newborn at home right now and this conversation was immensely helpful. Thank you both!
This is the second podcast I've watched with Dr. Peterson. What I enjoy most is seeing how genuinely interested Dr. Peterson is sharing experiences with his guests. As spectators and young people, take the time to really listen to the conversation. These behaviors and experiences are something we all can relate to. It's infectious watching how the conversation moves and evolves into the cause and effect of how we think and perceive as we relate to outside stimuli. Kudos to Dr. Peterson and his guests for providing real insight in bettering oneself.
Just thought about this myself: doing a podcast does come naturally to a person who has psychology degree and experience in a field where seeing patterns and listening are big part of career and patient success. Curiosity is a very necessary trait and passion for knowledge ofcourse as well. This makes the questions deeper and creates space where the guest can open up more. Stories that he himself shares have depth as well because of his personal experience and those of people he has treated.
That's why I love his podcasts, he's good at listening and then adding the probing questions. It's like watching a therapist session it's very interesting and deep substantial stuff that you can take away for yourself
Well said.
Greatness in one video.
“Jamie, pull up Chris Bumstead vs a bear!”
No one was expecting this! Such a wonderful gift today. Thank you Dr. JBP 🙏
We need a Jordan P gym chest day vlog with Chris.
That was so awesome! Really cool to see JP asking questions and trying to understand bodybuilding. And honestly I always liked CBum and thought he seemed like a cool guy, but I gained a lot of respect for him watching this. He's very clearly a really emotionally intelligent guy and is a great role model for young guys, and I thought it was so awesome how he was familiar with Jordan's content and used this as an opportunity to pick his brain. I have to finish the Derek video, but as a big fan of both guys this one hit different. It seemed like Jordan clicked with CBum really well to me and it was just overall a great conversation. Two great role models here, I hope a lot of young men are able to see this.
How is it that JBP can pull me into his thought process and the conversation with absolutely fierce curiosity even though I wasn’t 100% convinced that I was interested or that it was relevant in anyway? I love this man, truly I am so grateful for JBP- life is just better with him in it, with his pursuit of what is good and right, I think that I’ve become a better thinker, a better student and a better teacher, thank you Mr. Peterson! 👏👏
Chris is such a great listener.
You see people who have tasted 1/10th of his success and can't have the patience, to listen and learn.
He is like the ideal beast of a being.
Two great Canadians. So great to see this chat!
Derek and CBum in one week is amazing! Love seeing this crossover
I've been waiting to watch this interview with Chris. Two great people coming together from such vastly different lives, amazing to listen to.
This was a great great podcast. Chris seems like a really genuine and thoughtful guy and Dr Peterson great as always.
This conversation was awesome. Two incredible role models for young men!
One of the greatest fitness influencers having a nice chat with chris bumstead
I literally talked about this interview last week and now it’s here I’m so happy
Loved this interview with Chris! Thank you Dr. Peterson!
Doc, you are doing some really pivotal work with these conversations. Thank you
I can listen for 8 hours straight to this conversation. =)
46: minute, security doesn't make you brave

integrity is the foundation
great conversation here!
I like the sound of his voice. I hear the lisp. But it’s not irritating. Its charming.
He definitely doesn’t have anything to worry about.
The best heroes in fiction have a noticeable flaw. But that flaw adds to his character. You could say it’s an asset.
That's the best crossover ever for me. I consider jbp has a mentor and Chris is the goat in modern bodybuilding.
Two of my favorite people from two different world together.
seeing jordan with with david goggins would be sooo interesting.
yeah right
"Laughing at someone at the gym is like laughing at a patient going to the hospital" - I heard this from one of my friends years ago, it helped me a lot to get through the anxiety in the gym
Love this!!! And what a surprisingly good dynamic this interview had 🙌
GD imagine Chris's position in this interview. One of the most respected men in the world telling you how amazing you are and how much JP is praising you! That's the purest form of validation.😊
Love when this podcast branches out to successful people in different fields, keep up the great work!
Eleven minutes in and Jordan shows his intelligence and that he’s a great interviewer. I love and know bodybuilding and few people can interview in an area they r not familiar with
We will see Jordan on Mr.O stage much sooner than expected
Six months from now he will have "Bulk Day 16, Push Day" along with twenty bottles of choccy milk in the background 😂.
Just came from the gym, where I spent time teaching my sisters kids and getting a workout in. Loved the energy of sharing knowledge, and now listening to this conversation keeps that happiness fueled.
I've been watching JP regularly for years, this is one of my favorite interviews.JP masterfully brought out Chris's journey that does nothing but invigorate the human spirit
Jordan sees the value in masculine physical strength
The collab I was not expecting, Chris been collaborating with a lot of my podcast recently
I don’t think I’ve ever sat down and raw dogged a 2hr podcast before, good work gentleman.

I love that this interview exists!
I'm loving these interviews lately. Matt rife, Derek from mpmd, Bumstead. I never expected these guys to be on here. But I'm glad it happened.
Wow! What an amazing collab! NEver thought I’d see this ever! C Baum is the dude!
I realized something profound within me as I was listening to this podcast; just like Cbum and other great people-I want to strive for greatness, achieve milestones, and climb the highest mountains, but what speaks to my heart the strongest is to someday be the best father and husband I can be. Nothing grand about it, nothing special really, but it is something virtuos that a part of me is truly seeking for.
This is so cool to me. I appreciate JP so much and have followed him for a while now. As an amateur bodybuilder I'm a huge fan of CB. It's cool seeing these worlds come together and hear JP interview from a perspective of one learning from scratch
One of my favorites I’ve heard in a while. This was an awesome chat
The interview that I'd always waited for
Came here after the instagram post, reading all the negative comments on Peterson and his opinions... I gotta say, I don't know much about his other views but what he said during this interview is perfectly reasonable and good advice
Now THIS is the collab I thought I’d never see but I MUST WATCH❤❤❤❤
This one is a podcast a HALL OF FAME ENTRY God bless these two 🙏
Good interview; so young to be a mentor to others. He will be a great influence on many. I wish him, his wife and future baby girl many blessings
That was stupendous. Well done, lads. Well done.
Thank you for this interview. Two people I admire in their individual domain. This is a therapy session people should not take for granted.
Such a beautiful heartfelt interview!
No way! Can't wait for this one. Very unexpected
This is a collab I never could've seen coming.
Fantastic Guests Dr P!! Keep em coming
That's so true about being honest, especially when doing public speaking. A lot of people put on an 'act' when they speak publicly, but what I find, being a teacher, I just be honest. If something goes wrong or something unexpected arises, I let my students or whoever I'm speaking to publicly know about it and how it has affected whatever it is I'm speaking about or doing. Additionally, I always let my students know that I am human and if I do make a mistake, I encourage them to tell me about it as long as they are respectful.
wow! what an amazing conversation 💯
Insane crossover, love both of these dudes
Kind of enjoy the conversations like this one. I like how it is inspirational. Had me thinking of a few ventures and how to motivate myself. Wonderful guest, too.
Absolute cinema! Thanks for this conversation
Dos de las personas que más admiro en el mundo 💪👏👏 Dr Jordan no se olvide de Latinoamérica , ojalá podamos seguir viendo sus videos con traducción al español 👏
He's an amazing person. Simple as that.
Beautiful talk . Fellow Canadian boy here . Two brilliant Canadians
This has more insight and usefulness than the majority of content I see regarding behavior and mindstates
Chris Huberman doesn't exist he can't hurt you
The two biggest idols collab
Thats just amazing!
I loved how Chris knows so much about JP he was so prepared. Great podcast.
Love both, Motivation kicks in, lets hit the gym !
WHAT AN AMAZING PODCAST… 🤯
Tragically, too many women don't see men as humans with feelings. That's something that translates to poor adjustment of male children also. Wish more people were like Chris' wife.
This is a great interview. Its crwzy what gym does for you and you confidence
IM SO EXCITED TO WATCH THIS. TWO OF MY FAVORITE PEOPLE
