Battle of the Crithes. Thanks for having me man, I really appreciate you
Chris Bumson / Williamstead!!!💪🦵🧠
Some really deep feelings I felt during the dumbbell curls man. I feel the feelings now.
Only thing missing is me
Chris as someone with a child thats non-verbal and on the autism spectrum, i expect the ignorant autistic jokes from most of society, but not someone as educated as yourself. Take a second and imagine having a 6 year old that cant communicate in nearly any way whatsoever and hear people joke and wildly misinterpret what being autistic means.
"Chrithes" got me so bad!
xD
LMAO
Apologies for all the mic issues in the video! Haven’t been having the best time with these new mic’s. Switching over to some new ones in the next vid 🙏🏻 appreciate yall!
Hope yall like the longer form dialogue today!
It all Good mate, Thank you for letting us now
we better see the full gym tour calvin
All good. Was expecting much worse after seeing this comment. Keep it up brother!
Sounds good to me
Great video Calvin always man
Cbum when talking about training: relaxed, chill, low energy, kinda bored
Cbum when talking about his baby: energetic, gestures, theorizing about human nature😂
😂 well yeah I’m more excited for my baby than the gym
Once you become a dad you realize what life is all about. It’s awesome to see in other people.
Chris is the only person that can turn a workout into a podcast 😅
For real eh, I don’t mind though. Not many people have the level of intellect as this man
@@ChrisBumstead workout for the body and soul, never a wasted minute
which one ? :)
"Big push day with Jordan Peterson." That was a good one. Peterson is a gem
i was doing cardio watching this and laughed out loud n the gym bc of that joke
@@15FVdude I just came back here to show the joke to my friends cause that literally happened to me this morning lmao , dead silent gym doing cardio and actually laughed out loud 😂
"In the biblical corpus, push movements symbolize..."
Gem is debatable to an extent for sure

Huge props on wanting to make your kid comfortable to come to you bro. Despite what everyone told me on how I should parent, I also did it this way instead of "cry it out". My daughter is 9 now, you and I are same age but I had her really young and I took it serious for sure. She's a super respectful kid and very close to me, I think those parenting methods you are going to try are awesome.
I love that thanks for sharing. You sound like a great dad 🙏🏻
@@ChrisBumstead bro your 2021 back lat wider than 2022 and especially 2023 what happened brother 🙁🙁
The two men who inspires me the most. Nice
U cant inspire yourself😂😂😂
Yes 2 favs
Refreshing to hear you guys talk about this topic. I was born in 1990 and I feel like, as I was growing up, boys weren't taught to deal with emotions.. we were always told "toughen up" "be a man" etc. And it taught us to push stuff aside to proceed with life and at some point you just overflow with these unknown emotions and it causes a plethora of problems.
You're a great role model Cbum, don't ever change bro! Good on you for bringing this topic to the surface, huge praise from me.
Being a man is having the courage to share and feel the feelings haha. Thanks man 🙏🏻
@@ChrisBumstead I agree 100%
This. Can 100% relate. I was diagnosed with C-PTSD a few weeks ago after close to 10 years of struggling with symptoms. I guess I had an above average level of adversity up until this point but I think a big reason it had the effect it had on me was due to the lack of emotional processing and shutting down on everything. We’re social and emotional animals. We’re meant to process, not toughen up, and we’re meant to feel comfortable processing it together (Not be co-dependant, but feel like we have a support system to help us). The toughen up, be a man, boys don’t cry and the whole let them cry through it (emotional neglect) has surely ruined a lot of lives. I caught the effects early on and will recover. Not the same story for everyone else.
I hear you, & I also don't. Men largely are the way we are because of genetics...the vast average difference between how men & women process trauma & the like has far more to do with nature than nurture. Sure, we want our men to feel free to express their "feelings", but I frankly do not want a world full of men who feel like they need to mimic women. Humans make changes with a pendulum approach, so it's always going to swing way past where it "should" end up, & I do think we're currently in a time where the pendulum is on its way too far to the other side....I'm hearing way too much therapy-speak nowadays from men & women...and children. Men, on average, should be more emotionally stoic than women, on average.
That's probably the deepest Workout I've ever seen.
Deep reps deeper talks
Workout + Podcast, a Good Combination!! Loved it!!

Dear Chris, you are an inspiration to me and you unknowingly have brought me through difficult situations in my life. I just want to thank you so much for your great videos! Have a wonderful day!
That means a lot man thank you 🙏🏻
This was different . I realised ibam not alone with my thoughts and feeling feelings and people pleasing.. these two are so interesting listening to you made me feel like I'm not entirely lost. 2 of the most grounded people I have seen. Thank you for sharing this side of you
Love that man you’d be shocked how many people feel the exact same way
@ChrisBumstead always felt ashamed for being this way . Hiding my feelings and putting on a front. But in some of your comments, I saw myself especially with the subject of being surprised about built up of tears not knowing where they're comming from.youll be a great dad stay the way you are..
@@saschaBmancrazy how many men suppress there feelings bc they feel if they don’t there less of a man glad you are finding yourself more good luck to you brother

This was fucking awesome to watch, the calmness is there..
podcast / workcast like this is what i really need. so much information in 1 video.
Always a great day when CBUM uploads and I am just now got a new routine to follow! ❤ from the UK
Thank you for this. What an amazing listen and all in the gym at that! Therapeutic!
🙏🏻🙏🏻
LOVE this combo of you two together. Genuinly my two biggest inspirations for healthy masculinity. Thank you for your guidance and inapiration. Grateful af🫶🏻❤️ The podcast you did together is by far one of my favourite podcasts (of all) because of the important topics covered and your views on them. Keep being you guys❤️
i love what yall do it’s so raw and awkward it’s real
Love being awkward
Surprisingly this was very wholesome. Got something rare out of Cbum.
Love this video!! I’m glad it is longer! I want to hear it all
9:03 Amazing!!
I’ve worked with kids from entry level to teenagers in a program where we teach about different values, Respect, integrity, positive relationships and resilience.
And what Chris is saying is on point about helping their child learn to regulate their emotions not by themselves but with him and Courtney to build those positive relationships.
So good man so good! 🙌
Like the longer form dialogue!
One thing that could be a good idea to add on this longer dialogue videos was timestamps with the conversation topic!
Love the content
Love this form of workout/conversation! If anything, moving around and getting the blood flowing lets you think a little more freely which makes for great conversation. You should definitely do more of this!
Great to see these two gymbros hanging out. Both are an inspiration.
Real therapy Session . Two Real mens sharing their Feelings . Grateful to watch
Loving the mental health talks. As a person living with CTE I go through a range of thoughts and feelings per day. Sometimes it can be difficult.
@@user-bb4xk6bb7nxxx I’m an ethereal.
I hope Chris makes videos on how to optimally raise kids. I’m having mine in June. A little girl also. And there isn’t much out there for “gym bro’s “ raising kids / daughters. Keep up the great work man. You’re definitely creating a new norm.
I did not expect all this talk about feelings. But thats actually why I started to seriously work out and bulk up, because I noticed if my body has more substance, it can handle the physical effects of very strong emotional experiences way better.
I love how chill the Cbum videos are
There's really something special to this vid, it's almost like discovering podcasts for the first time. Nice easy vibes, talking about random things, almost like going out with a friend, except the people are Chris & celebrities.
This is the kind of content I subscribed for. Thanks !!
You two are hilarious and thought provoking at the same time.
Absolutely love this new podcast interview style, planned or otherwise!
About that feeling talk, very useful content bcs now i can talk about it with my " @ " since we have this same difficulty of feel the feelings, i have it more, and with other people talking about that i see i was wrong in thinking i was the only one feeling lonely and far from others, not being able to get deeply connected, I'm actually seeing more and more that I'm not the only one struggling and I'm also glad to see that permit yourself to feel and express works when you find a partner that we can talk and express. It looks like a road sign like "this way leads to this" you know, that's very helpful, it gives me a certainly that wouldn't have alone just experimenting express myself and all
I like that Cbum has great guests on. From Chris Williamson, Alex Hormozi, GBRS guys, etc. It’s like watching a physically active podcast.
God bless you and your family Chris ❤
A podcast that happens to have a workout in the background… well done mate. Really enjoyed the conversation and content. Cheers
Love the take on helping your children manage their emotions. As you become a parent you can really take the things that you felt and harm you’ve seen others experience to mold how you try to do your best to care for them. I think when you have young kids, I’m talking like 3 and under , that they are still learning to understand what they are experiencing. Many times if my little girls throws a tantrum over say not getting candy. She’s not actually mad like I originally thought, she is actually sad beyond her control. Most of the time I can say to her that I love her, and understand that she is super sad and it’s ok to feel that it’s just not ok to kick and scream, usually every time if I ask her if she wants a hug. She like stops right in the middle of going crazy, says yes and then gives me a hug. It’s wild though to like try to understand what they are going through and their age appropriate level. I truly also think this can be done with out turning your kids into soft weak people, I think that’s a negative connotation that comes with understanding your emotions. It doesn’t mean that you won’t hold them accountable and that the way you handle these “tantrums” over time won’t evolve. The more we understand about ourselves and can control our emotions, the better off we all will be together! Props to you gentlemen!
This was such a pleasure to watch. Making us realize we are not alone, and we can relate to each other. Huge thank you to Chris & Chris
Agreed...I just don't want to take this emotional feely messaging too far with men. I want my sons to feel like they can talk about their feelings, but I also do not want them to talk about their feelings nearly as much as their sisters do/will. Men need to retain a healthy portion of the grunting stoicism that defines us as well.
I love watching your videos and when I saw you did a interview I wanted to watch it and now I’m also a big fan of Chris Williamsons work too I have been watching his and your videos a lot recently and have learned a lot so seeing y’all do another video together is great! lol
Deployment just finished today. Finally home. Get to stay caught up. Saw your products in our base stores. Thank you
Thank you for your service, and welcome home.
Great video Chris , Calvin and Chris .
I loved the back and forth conversation between you two .
Cool to see a more human side to you .
watching you’re videos!! makes me wanna lift hard weights & set a goal too!! Keep it up bro!! 💪🏼💪🏼
Thank you for another great video.
Two legends. You are awesome
“Big push day with Jordan Peterson😂😂”
when?
Everyone can learn a lot from watching this video! ❤️
Best upload this year so far!
Haven't even watched fully and already know that I'm gonna learn something!
Loved this one but my favorite part was near the end talking about emotion accelerating decelerating. Last fall my mother had gotten news she might have cancer and well for about four months that’s what the doctors thought because she has a rare blood disease but for months i was anxious and tired because i was filling the role of a parent because she lived in a hospital it wasn’t until April that they let her go.
You both are inspiration for me
One of my favorite collabs
this was a nice therapy session never knew I needed to watch or expect from cbum!
Hahah we all need it
Really hope Chris (Bum) writes a book within the next few years about Feeling Your Feelings. That concept has helped me tremendously and would help millions
45:32 - “Let the world know you as you are, not as you think you should be, because sooner or later, if you are posing, you will forget the pose, and then where are you?” - Kai Greene
I feel the conversations are out of true curiosity between you two and not just filling the void of silence
Thank you for the awesome content ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Best mental fitness video in years!
Redefining the sport, one video after another. #GOAT.
What an awesome listen
The Chris' are single handedly going to reshape men in the new age. Loved to hear Cbums take on parenting in this new generation, and this is the best way to raise a child, let them feel things and stop the generational trauma.
Prayer is a great way of hitting the emotional part and ruminating :) 43:59
I really like cbum as a person I truly feel like he is going to be a great dad
6:10 >> the smirk and the pause on the edit just enough to register haha! Nice.
It's good to see people investing in being good parents.
This was great💪🏼
Not-so-early gang from the Philippines~! Let's go, champ!
Greatest Chris duo of all time
Sleep training is number one! We started at 4-6 weeks. They can handle it early, and it’ll change your life!
cbum is going to be an amazing father!!
Cbum vids are always a vibe
The best thing about cbum is that he never take off his shirt like ordinary other bodybuilders. ❤️Oh his unique attitude 💙
feels gym. love it..
Let's Goooo CBUM and CW
love it 💜
This is an absolutely philosophical banger🙏🏼
Good stuff! And every child is different. You will figure out what your baby needs and just lean into that. Your next one might be the opposite (like mine were haha) You and Courtney use your intuition and you will do great. Excited for you 🤝
This is soo good...
Could watch these two just chat all day
These two are a definite positive…. As awkward as some parts seem, maybe that’s the Point… like training calf’s with arms🤔. Discussing mental health and physical heath these two Chris’ pull it off by highlighting some issues they deal with, how they have overcome life’s hurdles and how they strive to be the best version of themselves and to the viewers who follow them…. I have followed CBUM since his early days and his humility and work ethics is Second to None.
This is the stuff!
This was cool, a workout podcast in my eyes
I love this and I didn't expect it to be so funny 😂😂❤
Perfect sunday 🫡
my favorite duo
Well who would have thought I'd get some good parenting take aways from watching people work out. So rad. Thanks for that.
I miss you, Chris, when you are days late in posting videos ❤❤

great video
I always wanted these two to be friends.
I really like how this video has so many jump cuts. It makes it feel like b roll from a documentary or something
This is like a podcast where they constantly interrupt eachother by moaning. Lmao.
What books would you recommend for the baby? We have our first due April 4.
