It’s a joy to watch a team of individuals work so well together. Your shop is not hectic, it’s well organized, and it’s great to see a project being completed.
When you are not in a hurry ! Things are easier ! Thanks for sharing !
How about a shirt with the
“ never underestimate the power of a supercharger to change your attitude”
🙏❤️😎🤙
Great idea!!
Big fan of the flip cover license plate for the winch!
Nice to see you back. Hopefully you got some rest after the scramble to make it to the wrecker games.
Grizz is looking better and better!!
Dusty and Tyson (aka the bell brothers. Ding and dong) 😊 Nice job on the bumper!
You have made a gem of a wrecker. Hope it brings smiles and fun for whatever you do with it ❤❤🎉
More important, to me, are the memories made when the family rallied super hard to make it happen on a tight schedule. That memory will be a treasure when times are tough.
The thing I love about projects, is they never end, it’s like owning a home, it’s never finished, and when ya think you are? There comes this idea of changing something, or updating, or replacing worn parts, the list goes on and on and on and on
I was excited to see the craftsmanship that went into this build at the Off-Road event in person. Meeting all in person made it even better. Great job.
I see it’s still a bit of a struggle for Dusty and Tyson to see the image Chad has in his head. Especially when we find out at the end that that image is not even clear to Chad.
Griz is looking amazing.
Nice to see someone stick with one project
Wonderful progress.
FrankenGrizz is coming along.
Bumper is looking good. Your attention to the lines is impressive
Tyson & Dusty really work well together bouncing thoughts off each other. That bumper is looking good. The wrap idea sounds good. I was dreading the cost of chroming of my own project bumpers. Thanks for sharing
Another great piece of wisdom at the end of the video. Make sure you watch till the end. I love it. Thanks.
Someday, a fan will cut those all together into a Zen compilation.
I can't wait for that boom to get painted, it's gonna look amazing
It's always a good day when I see the distinct orange tow truck pictured on my "subscribed" channel list! Thank you for bringing us along.
If you trim the end of the bumper off to clear the tires, think about putting rollers on the ends of the front bumper for side pulls from the front winch! Eddie
You guys are a riot. 😂😂
Nice to be out from under the time crunch and at a lower stress level for sure.
It looks great 😊.
U guys do great work and an awesome team
Hi gang from Tn. Chad love your videos especially the comment you put in at the end of each one.
Thank you!! Means a lot!
Everyone loves a good blower now and again 😉🤣
I love the first thing you said, about no deadline. ❤
Me too!!!
After that family rally to make Griz happen...YES! If they ever have a bad day, I hope they think back on that.
I like the bumper. Keeps the look of stock without looking so bulky. Can’t wait for the next video to see more progress!
In my opinion I was at off road games by far best sounding wrecker there
Wrecker drags. Matt said to let you know. Your team has built a beast.
Truck's coming together great, certainly looking the part,😂 thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones
Hello 👋 Family and Friends 👍❤️☮️💪🏻✌️
I love it when you keep me scratching my head until the end when I can see your vision.
The bumper turned out awesome.
I’m waiting for the Fender’s to be finished.. looking forward to seeing how they roll and finish out.
You and me both
It’s very cool!😊
Now that you guys have a wrecker, are you going to start doing recoveries?
When it's all done we probably will just for fun. There are several off-road recovery companies here locally, including @B.O.R.R. so no plans to push into that field. Just assist when needed, help where we can and have fun doing it.
@@chadsfab Awesome! I was wondering if you knew those guys. I'm subscribed to their channel too! Looking forward to the collaborations.
I love your page and your words u say. At the end
Build the bumper mount modular. Use the frame as the receiver and build bumper structure to fit into the frame tips. A few bolts or pins and it all comes out. Then you can have the structure you need for rubbing rocks.
That's just what Grizz deserves, that bummer set's him off to look like he's finally getting finished up front.
Matt sent me to say something, but that was like a week ago... so I really don't remember what he said. But it was something important.
Utah vs Florida wrecker racing
If/when the invite comes we will absolutely be there!!!
Another dead line 😅
@@blainecrandall4600 Only if we bother Cleatus enough for the invites to be sent.
I watch every episode of this wrecker truck. I am coming.to work with you n learn some of those cool stuf
great as always well done
Another excellent episode ……. And the food for thought was very good for me! Thanks😄🤔😄👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Well Chad...after the front bumper was welded...it looks fantastic! It's a meatier look for the entire front of the wrecker. Well Done!
Chad, how about adding some brackets and D-rings on the front bumper, just in case you ever need them for the recoveries?
That's in the plans 😁
that is a sweet awesome truck. I would like to see it in person some time. Hey that's Jeremy I know him and chad
The bumper work is bringing back memories of my first job after high school. I was the grinder that would remove the rust, loose chrome and hammer marks after a bumper was straightened. The owner had “patterns” for each bumper, they would get a new bumper and trace the top edge, the bottom edge and the ends on a sheet of paneling.
So if you have access to a good straight bumper you can make your own pattern.
I love that truck it’s wicked looking good
I love that the bumper has an Air Force Base pass on it, I am retired Air Force, you don't see those much anymore!!!
No deadlines, so you can take your time to do what you like! There are so many projects that need to be completed. I'll have many videos to watch for a while, and I'll love every moment of it.✌️😊
Chad is a modern-day Tom Sawyer. His friends and family stop by to whitewash all the fences he dreams up!
I'm very happy the can tabs showed up... Hope it does something good for someone in need..
Thanks again for sending those!! Truly appreciate that.
Was looking for the video yesterday, glad to see a new video today
Put an expanded metal cage around the exhaust as a guard.
I like watching your channel the humour is awesome keep it up you guys built top notch stuff and fun to watch
I wish you had a bigger shop with all the equipment . You and your team do some awesome work. Can’t wait to see the special parts y’all make for the wrecker.
I watch every minute and like and comment to help make the $$ flow. Even if you aren't feeling it that day, let it run while you do the dishes.
The orange and white is a great colour combination.
I feel like orange is the official color of Chad's Fab. It's what I think of when I hear about them.
Best fab show on CZcams love it.
Wow, thank you!
Hey Chad, can't wait to see how you do recovery pionts on the front and still get the look you are going for. Looked great throwing sand at the games.
I like how, at the beginning of the off-road games, you had a picture of the camper Griz started out as. Kind of a car show thing :)
You guys are great! Awesome wrecker build.
Putting a Godzilla in that was genius. Keep up the great work.
Very nice work on that bumper...looks really good.
Wrecker is the best of both worlds if your a car/ truck person
If this is something ongoing, I'll certainly start saving my can tabs and send them. That's about all we consume around here is can sodas
The bumper looks really nice on Griz! Love what y'all have done with 'er!
It is ongoing until May 15th for Kenner's school. Until we started doing this I wasn't aware of how common it is for a lot of places. People save them for kidney dialysis and the Ronald McDonald house collects them all year.
@@chadsfab how ironic to learn! I've been a dialysis patient for 20 years as of March 5th! Definitely not an easy row to hoe for sure and I feel for anyone who has to endure dialysis for any length of time. 💙🙏🏼
@@jangles1839 Sorry you've been going though that, and for 20 year 😥 You might want to ask the facility that you have your dialysis done at, see if they take the pop tabs. It was all new to us until Kenner's class started collecting them and WOW have our eyes been opened to just how many places take them.
Best of luck and prayers to you with all you're going through.
Slowing down, will allow Your --MIND- to be rested.
Love the wrecker!
I suggest, installing the side winch down low as possible and then add a small toolbox on a shelf above it.
Agreed!!
Nice job tucking that bumper to the body and with the winch even!
Front bumper looks good, needs to blend into the fender flares/inner fenders.
Back in the 60's when i was a teenager we used to string the pop tabs together into a chain then hang them across our front bumper. Alot of times we removed the front bumper and installed pipe bumper then hung the tab chains from that. We also put those wind in coil spring spacers in the front springs to raise the front end up. Of course, we kinda messed the ride smoothness up doing that but it looooooked coooool
You might want to figure out what type of material you need to put around the gas tank from getting damaged. Truck looks Great 👍
the bumper suits the front end, it blends with the look. over all i think the wrecker looks pretty damn amazing, you guys have done an amazing job building it, as always thank you for sharing
That bumper is looking good!
Your wrecker is a beast, good to see you have time now to finish it 👍
Your whole team is the bomb. Love watching you because I learn alot and you're fun 😊
Man those anti-fatigue mats can save your whole day, they make a HUGE difference.
Your videos are a great joy to watch. Thank you for sharing!
As always Thanks for the entertainment. 👍👍👍👍 I wish I still had my 72 Chev Truck.
I like your vision for your tow machine. You just take a grinder and a welder and use them back and forth until it looks like you want!
You and your family did a awesome job on this wrecker build. You and your family and friends are really fun to watch. This truck is a truck of many colors GM FORD and DODGE you are a real pleaser aren't you Chad! Lol.
😂🤣😂
Thank you Chad and crew for the update on the Griz ! It's really starting to take shape and looking awesome ! Take care , stay safe and healthy !
You have such a good eye and creative. What are you planning for the rest of the bed? I think removable bed skins from a donor would look really cool. Take them off when in danger but would look really complete when on. Just a thought.
I appreciate the cool factor of the bumper and all the work. But on a working tow truck it has to take a beating and still protect the truck # 3/16 PLATE
First, I say again, I like the quality of the work I see here. It is refreshing. BTW, I love the air filter size.
I must say though, I liked the time crunch videos where more work was done and less horsing around got filmed. If I want comedy, I will watch standup.
Southeast Ohio that's where I'm at Marietta . But awesome truck Chad's Fab, I like the exit on the exhaust
School bus bumpers with that body style are 3/16 " plate steel and very strong and could be made to look/function like stock.
The Griz is smiling again
That's is an awesome rig Chad's FABulous family 👍👍
The team is back in the shop 👍😎✊
That hug looked like a bear getting ready for dinner!
The A & C teams working on the front bumper. Lots of back and forth, but it looks much better than when you started. Not done yet. Some more changes pending.
I think it needs it's own Grizzley Chads motor company bow tie .
Just love you. Good video 📹 👍.
Awee Stacy.. get the 100 Tonne press 😂❤
Great job guys. Thank you 😊
Is that an USAF sticker on the front bumper? Hill AFB? The HILL AFB portion of the decal is supposed to be removed and turned in when you change duty stations and when you get to your new duty station you get a new AFB decal to put under where the old one was once you're at your new base. Unless you area an a retiree and that is the base you use for retirement uses. They don't use those decals anymore but cool to see one! Id leave it on
Oh we are! It's something we want to preserve.
It was on an old 71 pickup a friend bought a few years back. I believe the gentleman had retired from Hill.
@@chadsfab Awesome!
When the cat is away the mice will play eh.
LOL
Well, it's so nice to see even more fun in the playhouse this week. Keener, I had a 6 5-gallon bucket of those they get money off for Lukemium around here. Chad I would say run but they all helped out so much on the build so you must share. I think the bumper looks great. Curley, we just support the Dodge brothers come on man. Stacie don't ride in the truck in your bare feet come on lady. You all had a wonderful Saturday.
Absolutely right Chad we need to keep making coarse corrections to ourselves to stay on the path, learning to work on our own broken issues and our own hurts and hangups and fixing others just isn't in the script.😅
I really like how the bumper fits. Could you have refit the rolled edge that was cut off the bottom by reattaching it after the bumper was cut to the correct hight ? It would give the bumper a finished look and stiffen the bottom edge.
Thew structure we're building on the bottom will simulate the original shape and be a lot stronger
