Pick one you like the looks of. And then later on choose another. Any of them can be viable and fun to play.

@@DuhReason i did leveled up my hunter from 35, ended finishing the storylines from zandalari, loved them! And unlocked the allied races. Then going to start a troll paladin, because having a Jamaican plated holy knight is badass to me hehe
Despite your claims, Death Knights do fit pretty well. After all, they supposedly murdered the remnants of the Red Dragonflight in the Ruby Sanctum during Legion and raised their class mount into undeath. I believe you even get some extra dialogue when you first meet Alexstrasza again.

Paladins are literally just..Warriors who use the light. They were made to fight the Horde, i don't see a reason why they wouldn't be applicable in..any form of conflict regardless of the goal.
As a priest main, I'm happy to have made the top 3. Though I do think we'd be the real winners just sitting in the car as the designated driver
I still say the hunter, dragonflight gave us some tameable dragonkin in the form of valdrakken rep, and the theme of the hunter also fits the maruuk centaur very well
My hunter alt is parked in Maruuki specifically for hunts and grinding the centaur rep
The fun thing about a character that doesn't quite fit into an expansion, is that you can story craft their own reason to be there, not as a class specifically, but as a character. For example, I had my night elf demon huntress go there as a mercenary, searching for a cause amongst the remnants of the only place on her world untouched by the legion's crusade, the only place left untouched by the war of the ancients and the sundering of the world thereafter. My draenei mage was tired of years spent fighting and was ready to be a peaceful arcanist again, going to the dragon isles strictly as a researcher.. or at least... she was until a bunch of element-crazed primalists showed up and now its her problem. You could have a paladin or priest that goes as a missionary, or an orc or death knight that wants to atone for the atrocities they committed against the red dragonflight. You could have a warlock that wants any forbidden knowledge or power that may have been locked away there for ten thousand years. A rogue who was just searching for draconic artifacts to steal and sell on the black market, but ended up getting roped into the expedition and stays to avoid getting caught for their true motives. The possibilities are truly endless!

Yes. Adding your own rp to the expansion is such a good way of attaching yourself to the world and your character.
My lightforged draenei paladin came along for the same reason any priest would, to heal and protect against possible dangers of the expedition. And perhaps the moment that made me truly stay was when you get to sit down and reminisce with Veritistrasz. And they bonded over the common shared experience of going back home and failing to recognise it. I came for the expeditions but stayed to help the dragons rebuild what they lost, because unlike the dragons the draenei never got to rebuild Argus.

Maybe I will return with a story before of my own
A troll hunter that’s just out there on expedition to Northrend tracking a huge mammoth patriarch for their tusks to pay up for war debts his tribe has aggregated for a revenge war against the bordering tribe that once trashed their village in a collective bad mojo trip, fought back but got pwned because the black mojo shamans brew them some berserking brew. His raptor pet then gets trapped and caught by a local hunter who wants to sell the raptor to a crazed rich dwarven lady who is alcoholic and entertains a circus of exotic animals for arena fights. Our troll hunter then has to assist the local hunter for his quest throughout Northrene before, as a deal, he then brokers back his childhood pet friend raptor.
I’d have to disagree. I’m more concerned about play style and having fun than fitting my character into the lore. Go play FFXIV if you want to feel like a main character.

To give the monk some credit as fitting into dragon flight, helping out the locals, especially the Tuskar, has felt very apt. That said, being a pandaren also helps this
Not to mention they do the flying dragon kick.. and the healing totem is a dragon etc. There was a lot of Dragon related stuff in Pandaria.

my excuse for my Demon Hunter being in the Dragon Isle is because she's been trapped in Crystal for so damn long to a changed world (literally thanks to Cataclysm) that she just wants to Explore. and since Illidan is away, the DH can play >:3
The dragons slept aloooong time too, so your character might find common ground with them.

I say the most fun class so far for me is Druid. Specifically Tank Druid.
Warriors are also really fun to play.
I gave it the Ole college try with the Shaman for the second expansion in a row but it was not meant to be. Then I tried Outlaw Rogue because I wanted to be infuriating in World PvP but I grew bored. Nestling back into my Fire Mage is inevitable and comforting every time 🔥🧙♂️
If you like fire mage id recommend fury warrior.
I've had more fun playing other classes (e.g., Demon Hunter) but I must be a pally at heart even though I suck at it. I love their lore, their seriousness, etc.
I used to be Tankadin every xpac, but first time ever, i leveled feral druid first and love it.
It's not an easy class to master, but it's so much fun.
I went moonkin, love it. It’s such a diverse class, with great mechanics.

I'm disappointed that DK's got eliminated so soon. While it's not obvious, they have some lore/ stuff to do in the dragon isles.(Sindragosa) They need new frostwyrms.
They should give them one as a pet
For me its demon hunter because of the high movility the class has. You can ''float'' because of the wings so falls are not a problem anymore and you have like 2 dashes so you are always moving really quick. Plus the eye laser is really satisfiying to use xD
You're stuck with the 1 race and DH is pretty much the cringiest class in WoW.
How can you have priests and not monks. Monks make sense cause they're curious travelers. They use lightning, earth and fire. The first boss is made of lightning! They have 3 roles. THEY MAKE MORE SENSE than priests, pleeeeeaassseeee.

It's a dumb take. Build your own lore for your character and don't listen to this.
Only one - Druid. If you get bored with your spec you can be a melee, tank, healer, or caster. You can stealth, pick up objects and herbs in flight form, instantly go to travel form, breathe underwater, swim faster, heal other players in any spec, and buff others. You also get a combat rez. Most fun IMO.

Playing a Shaman during Legion was probably the most fun I've had in this game :c poor Shamans
If you like to smash: paladin , warrior , demon hunter
If you like mobility/kiting : monk , druid , hunter
If you like to be a quick thinker and nimble with fingers: mage , rogue
If you like to kill/heal in many different ways to the point of being a maniac on how you do it: dk , warlock , priest
If you like to have just visuals: shaman
If you want to be a fairy dragon : evoker

Fury warrior and fire mage are probably the most engaging. Feels like your playing guitar hero
My personal favorite is Druid. I can never decide which role to be in a party so I'd rather be a hybrid of all three. Plus, you can turn into a bear.
Yup and the quality of life is amazing aswell
First test mistake, eliminating hunters. Pets can tank. I have rescued a lot of dungeon groups over the years and a few raids with my tanking pet when the main tank or off-tank went down. This is also why they make the best solo class. You can tank and dps at the same time. Right now I am rolling my vanilla mage, pally, hunter and druid alternately through Dragonlands and enjoying the heck out of all of them for different reasons.
I’d say ever since they gave druid 4 specs it’s probably the best just because you can do everything
Prot paladin. 1h+shield combo is awesome, the play feel is fun(but slow as shit on a sunday) and the lore is nifty
Prot pally is perfect for beginner, you never will die! and look all gold and shiny and people dont really mess with u in wPvP due to bubble and stuns being annoying. i agree with vid tho I love to play my holy priest the most, its the best healer, so intuitive and just a comfy class which is beloved

ofcourse the class he chose to main this expancion won :P. Hunter fits perfectly as they love to explore new land for new hunting trophies. Mages love to find new lore and learn about magic so ofcourse they fit aswell. Monks are also explorers and love to find good food and alcohol and a good Brawl, who wouldnt want to fist fight vs a dragon when they are drunk?

I have seen Buddhist monks in my local KFC in western Europe, so I see no reason why monks should be out of place on the Dragonisles. They fit perfectly, more than anyone else.
I can already hear the bold guy react to this video "there we goooo booooys", "I knew it", "what can I say?".
These "fun" lists always assume someone wants to switch roles in order to play a raid or something. There is a lot more to the game than current-content raids that require a bunch of people to learn mechanics to kill a boss... that, in less than a year you'll be able to solo anyway.

heard it here folks, classes can't be fun to play unless they can do everything in the game, only fun class in the game is druid (sucks if you don't like its playstyle, nixxiom is the authority on fun around here).

I wouldve kept Hunters around. I understand they only play the role of DPS. But if you are a dies hard DPS they are one of the only that you can play a ranged and a melee dps besides Druids. Making for a completely different playstyle with the same class

for me it has to be druid thus far! I can not only keep my allies alive but I can destroy my enemies at the same time! plus my role comes with its own free flying mount so I don't really have to buy a mount if I don't want to
My favorites are:
Warrior: you can't go wrong with them, you can equip any shit on them like Swords, Hammers, Staves and G U N S, they are the G.I JOE of wow
Rogues: too hardcore too play, and i like it, is the same feeling like playing a fighting game which you don't know what combo can deal more damage
Paladin: _(insert Crusaders orchestral christian metal music)_
DK: _(insert some grunch, heavy metal, or anime intro music)_
you say that, but im only a sponge of damage in PVP, my only work as a protector warrior is carry flags, defend bases, tank the bosses and spam fear and stuns in the middle of the battle, also carry food in the Pandaren Chilli cauldron
Dammit Nixxiom I came to this bar to find out what alt to play, guess I'm making a second warrior AND beating the living crap out of everyone.
I've always mained druid & loved every second of it. being able to heal, dish out massive damage, tank, look cool in certain forms, and move fast were all I needed in a class. but recently I picked up WW monk & its easily the most fun I've ever had in WoW. I think it's the fact I can 1v1 certain classes that I never could before. I 2v1'd a hunter & warrior in Twin Peaks yesterday and shit on them both 😭🤣 could NEVER do that on my druid. maybe I'm just bad with the rotations
Imo shamans are extremely fun if you have the correct abilities, especially resto, enhance, and elemental.
Shamans have been the most fun class since classic. They have been nerfed in almost every patch bliz ever released and will never be allowed to be actually competitive with dps or healing despite putting in 400% more effort on skill priority systems and gear. Source over a decade as a shaman main.

I've played about half the classes at max level in DF, and in my subjective PVP opinion, the ones that feel the best to me are "Rogue, Druid, Monk." There are other strong classes, but as far as "Fun factor goes" that's my personal opinion.
Hunters have pets though! Which means a lil tank of their own that can be easily resurrected

Paladin honestly fits in any expension. It is the alliance highest rank and strongest knights. Why tf wouldn't the alliance bring their strongest knights to fight the big evil?
imagine kicking out 4 classes just because they don't have a different role, after all every spec plays differently, you don't necessarily need to have a tank or a healer spec.

I haven't and never will main a warrior until they finally add playable Vrykul into the game. At which point it'll still be pretty difficult to choose a viking warrior over a viking god of thunder.

I really wanted to love Death Knight's but they just aren't fun enough... if I had to be unbiased I would say Warlock is the most fun, with so many additional pets you can summon, you can be utterly surrounded in minions when all your Demonology talents proc just right. I really wished they would bring the Necromancer class from Diablo 3 to WoW, just right click and raise all those dead mobs as your own.

I'd agree with you if they didn't absolutely GUT Single Minded Fury build for Fury spec. Seeing that happen so shortly after us getting SMF back made me retire my warrior.

i used to love mark hunter but after so many changes i switched to a bm hunter and will never go back ever again and yes second best class for me is moonkin druid then ele shamy and that is about it for wow

So I saw this vid since I recently got back into the game. Rolled as a warrior but kinda finding it a bit slow with the rage bar thing. I’m playing the 2H weapon warrior (I think it was arms) but I’m still feeling like it’s a bit lacking. Anyone got any advice in regards to the warrior leveling?
