Divinity Original Sin 2 has alot of spell interactions like that, wetting an enemy with a water spell and then shocking them with a lightning spell stuns them, soaking an enemy with oil and hitting them with a fire spell makes them explode etc etc

I personaly believe the Chrome introduction Idea is pretty great. But i would like to add that the level squish is imo one of the worst mmo fuck ups of all time. A newcomer in Tibia gets to experience the entire game and older quests are still considerably relevant, i took a break and came back in mop and i remember leveling through cata to reach pandaria was awesome. People always had the option to get boosted by guildmates and friends. The level boost in the shop and level squish fucked up a crucial part of the RPG part of the game.

The Great Walk in LotR Online will be incredible, but the death system there is different, you return to the "cemetery" (resurrection circle) and not to your body (unless you spend Mithril Coins). It might be interesting to see a more strategic perspective of walking. And in LOTRO, in my experience, the enemies are further away from the road, making the journey more friendly. The music features... I can only imagine the immersion you will have. A hug from Brazil.

im started to play wow in pre-patch of WoTLK and i loved it. Now its classic cata and im enjoying it too, waiting for Pandaria. im kinda new player and i love this game (cant say it about DF)

This is what I think, so take it with a pinch of salt. The reason they never did warbands is because they were sunsetting wow in favour of their other IPs. Which is fine, like I throw no shade blizzards way for the idea. They were looking at live services and thinking, hey we can make more money doing X and Y with much less risk and investment. They are a company after all. People ditched wow in their droves to do other things and their live services didn't really pan out, a lot of their other IPs bombed to be honest. Especially D4. I also don't think all the negative sentiment around wow helped them in the public sphere. So, wow got the investment it needed. Based on the numbers that Bell did at one point retail had less than a million players with classic being the only real reason they did okay. Basically, if not for classic, wow would be dead right now. Look at all the systems in retail at the time, easy to manage and replicate with minor tweaks that can be made with smaller drops of content. Very similar to the D3 model of sunsetting content.

TBC guy, I guess. 🤷 The social aspect of raiding was probably my cup of tea. Though I do recall quite a few frustrations😂 Maybe that's what made it memorable, there was so much more at stake. 😛

I have the best memories from vanilla WoW, TBC and WotLK. Nothing can beat those 3. I have not felt same kind of awe when I played first time vanilla WoW and leveled up my first character.

it doesnt matter if you are weak u cant do hight level stuffs or kill something hard because the combst mechanic early game, combat system is boring... and lotr online game is dead... u have lesss than 100 players daily, and if they do this in game like wow... how many mirror is gonna need? .... to do that u devs need to make a combat system that requires skills to dodge and skills...

Cataclysm is literally an expansion built on the bones of Vanilla WoW. I don't care much about the modernization, but completely overhauling the Vanilla world, making it uglier, and ultimately breaking consistency during the questing experience? That's what I didn't like. They could've updated the quests and layout to allow for flying WITHOUT allowing Deathwing to dump on the world! And without turning my favorite zone, 1K Needles, into a dirty bathtub! But my gripes aside, Cataclysm has no place in "Classic" WoW. It is now on par with retail and therefore pointless! Are we just gonna slowly re-release World of Warcraft with a 14 year lag?
