It doesn't separate solids and liquids. But doesn't need to if it seals completely between "flushes". Expensive bags, but worth it for part-time camping and to not see or smell your business.
nice video ive got one i replaced my rv toilet so i dont use the black water tank and dont have to take it to the rv dump, i made it portable so i can take it tent camping as well , 1 thing though it doesnt seperate the solids and liquids just roolls it up and stores it at the bottom, so far i love mine, happy trails man
Those are exactly the reasons why we love this toilet too! Cheers!
How is it workin for u?
Does it hold the smell in pretty good compare with the black tank toilet?
Ha! Ingenious! Great explanation and demo! Perfect!
haha thank you :)
I've been researching this model for my van, thank you very much for the review.
You are quite welcome! :)
Mind blown!
haha Thanks Jeannine :)
The toilet of the future lol
Sure is! :)
Tres bien!!! Merci, well done!! 😊
I don't think it separates solids from liquids, but if I'm wrong I'd love to know how.
One of the best..
They are very pricey but well worth every penny.
It doesn't separate liquid and solid.
It's like baby diaper container , same concept. I see a way you can use that on modified camping toilet .
That's exactly right!
so you have had it for a while do you like it still? thank you for the video
Do you still like it are there any problems there are not very many reviews
Hopefully the price on these come down a bit cartridges are not cheap either at first it was advertised that it was like $15 for a pack but looking online doesn’t look that way
The only videos I've seen the $15 price are, like this one, old. They're currently $20/each on the company website. More on amazon. Considering the options... I'll pay a little more and pee in a jar to get the most out of it
What model use this?
Sweet!
What happens at the end of the mylar roll?
Everything just stack on top of each uses leaving less room for your bizzness?
It coils inside of the toilet. You remove it and add a new Mylar Roll!
You can use the same bag multiple times?
Yes! The bags are multi use. dry-flush.com
So it's basically like a giant diaper genie
Yes, very similar!
Where can I find this?
Google
15 flushes, so you use 1 catridge a week and each cartridge is $20
We use the dry flush as more of an incase of emergency situation. A lot of our van owners are doing weekend trips to campgrounds, rest stops, etc, where they are near a bathroom. The dry flush is a great option for the times where you may not be able to get to a bathroom.
@@vandoitco thanks that makes sense to use this toilet as a sometimes toilet for convenience because it’s a lot of money down the toilet (literally). I was considering using this for my airbnb guests so they don’t mess up my composting toilet situation hmmm
Huge rip off. You only get half the flushes your supposed to because the liquid comes up through after you flush the first time. The refills are expensive and the shipping is even more than the refills. Customer service is non-existent. Just don't buy one there's way better options out there.
Refills are at Home Depot..
I’m told that if you dump a small scoop of cat litter that it will take care of the liquids.
What are the better options?
@@LukeRockCimber A plain old composting toilet is better than this junk. Check out the incineration toilets a little more expensive but work great.
@@soullesscargo261 'a little more expensive'? Try a lot more, and a ton more electricity.
