- Manchester City are Premier League champions, but questions remain about how the club does business.
People don't know if this team, this whole project is based on some wrongdoing in the past, because City stand accused of over 100 breaches of the Premier League's financial rules.

Of course, it’s never been an even playing field financially, but the disparities between the richest and poorest teams are starker than ever, and if you look at the stats for who comes where in the Premier League, it’s consistently the wealthiest who fill the top spots, with teams like Leicester being very rare anomalies. Money’s rules and money rules.

But City are Cheaty
City Vs Establishment?🤔
That's not true look at Chelsea, west ham were bigger but Chelsea went into huge debt and took 15yr of continuous debt until they started to get money back, city meanwhile just couldn't wait 20yrs so they cheated instead.

Did you listen to the bit where it was stated that there was no evidence of cheating?
no evidence mate. keeping crying and cope

there is 0 evidence of any cheating, hence city a seeking legal charges against the league for bringing up lies to hinder the club
Their sponsor is their owner. That is already a clear conflict of interest. Pointless.
Well first of all, that's not true! However - it's funny that nobody seemed to find that an issue when King Power sponsored Leicester, Aviation Gin are a major sponsor of Wrexham etc. etc.
No, it is true. All of their sponsors have money funnelled through them by their owners. Cheats.
@@jackpowrie3 that’s not cheating is it 😂
@@Fozykeno it’s considered cheating by FFP standards, that’s why numerous charges relate to over-inflated sponsorship revenue/income.
@@TT-hx9nj not when you cook the books in their entirety, make up how much the payments are and run the club at a catastrophic loss but pretend you are within FFP. But obviously, they are totally innocent.
FFP is clearly designed to prevent smaller clubs from challenging those with longer histories. Based on revenue and past performance is a major handicap for smaller clubs. Look at how much Chelsea have spent in under 1 year, around half of City's total spend.
Nope it was designed to stop clubs going bankrupt by depending on rich owners for their finance.
@@lilbaz8732 You cannot be that naive....
City has never been a small club. If you really want to help smaller clubs we need to completely change how the money is distributed through the football pyramid.
@@lilbaz8732 Oh yeah I'm sure that's why half the clubs in the world like Manchester United, Barcelona, and Real madrid ARE IN DEBT
@@Nal1 most companies have some form of debt. Most people do aswell, mortgages etc...
Ask yourself why did smaller clubs vote for ffp? The efl voted it in. The prem (which needed a 2/3 majority). Most countries in europe. If it was only a plan to keep the big clubs big and the small clubs weak, why would they vote for it?
We all know big money ruined football in the UK..
It depends on what you would call ruining football, we have the best sides in Europe, our national team now consistently gets to semifinals/finals the lionesses actually won the Euros, I mean just because your or my favourite team isn’t winning doesn’t mean the game is ruined, if anything the game is better than ever in the U.K.
It’s probably not sustainable but to act like the game is worse is crazy
@@SgtS1lky tell him
This is so unfair because these rules basically means big teams should remain big while small team should remain small. If they want to be fair they should say all clubs should spend the same amount of money not wat the club is worth coz all clubs ain't equal. Psg have all the stars and expensive players. Real Madrid use to do that.
All the clubs in the Premier league started in the same boat. Small clubs like City had 147 years to become a big club, Liverpool, United and Arsenal became big clubs off there own backs through hard work and success on the pitch. That didn't happen for city so we should allow them to piss over 150 years of football history and be in a position they haven't earned all because they've been given unlimited money to spend by a state with an active slave trade who are using them for the sole purpose of sportwashing there dirty global image?
Absolutely not there are clubs which have grown organically and their overall sponsorship, commercial and broadcasting revenue has increased over the years Brighton, Brentford, Bournemouth and Fulham have over the years staying within FFP rules.
A big point is that you should not spend more than you earn. All agree on that. Who does that hit? The smaller clubs will need years to develop their revenue - taking it step by step. The bigger clubs a very different possibilities to further expand their income sources. It really hits the smaller and middle clubs the most. Thus its effect is that the big ones remains big and the smaller ones must have continued success both on the field and in economics to to make a huge stp upwards. The fair play rules majkes the steps steeper and higher for small clubs to climb.
Look at this journalist body language it's so plain to see the bitterness
Nope, there was no bitterness there. Just reporting.
This video is sponsored by Liverpool F.C. 😂
Meanwhile in Spain Barca is busy buying refs. LoL Our fore Fathers who brought us this beautiful game are grieving.😏😏😏
There’s no point of FFP if it only issues fines. Points deductions and being banned from Europe are the only punishments that will work
How about "If guilty". How can a team that is solvent be subject to these charges (under FFP) yet a team that has debts ( loans an unpaid transfer fees) of almost £1Billion be ok under FFP. The City of Liverpool is now to become the 51st state of the US with the take over of Everton. People go on about the UAE and Saudi and their connection to the PL yet after the Everton takeover, Liverpool, Everton, Manchester United and Liverpool all have US owners. It seems to me that the American owners are unhappy with the competition from non US owned teams and want to stop it. Also Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Burnley, Chelsea, Crystal Palace are under US control. Anyone see a pattern?
@@grimreaper-qh2znhow about, understand City have 115 charges? There’s no way not one of those charges aren’t real, cuz otherwise this headline of 115 charges would be ridiculous. City deserve punishment, and they need one of the worst punishments, or even multiple.
@@yobask8855 You should check the points. Most are just repeats of the same charge, year after year after year. There are basically 4 charges and anyone of these being dismissed gets rid of about 30 or so of the other charges.
@@yobask8855the 115 charges sensationalist headline you keep hearing is actually comprised of a much smaller amount of actual charges broken into much smaller sections. If you read through the charges it's actually like 4 big charges and they will all be dismissed immanently because there is no evidence to support any of the charges. Saying that they must be true because of their quantity is a complete fallacy, and the headline is obviously ridiculous because that is what sells the papers and increases viewership of the news.
@@all-caps3927 They aren’t just headlines. The reason nothing is happening is because the the Premier League don’t want to punish man city because of the total views they would lose if they were to punish them severely, which is why there is no evidence, they just want to stall it out as much as possible. And saying that at least some are true, isn’t complete fallacy, because how random would it be to bring up 115 charges? The media praise man city so much that they wouldn’t just do them randomly like that. And even if a lot of the charges could be small, if u add them up, it’s massive so that makes ur point invalid. The Premier League charges are simply a reiteration of the matters between 2013 and 2018 on which City were exonerated by CAS and on which, between the inception of FFP and 2014 they were fined by UEFA. Many of the charges are small beer in terms of overspending such as overpaying Mancini and Toure, both of these having denied that this had happened. I am not impressed at all with the so-called academic expert, whose views may have been truncated. The legal loopholes were not evident in CAS exoneration of City on those charges which were in time and not time barred.
Not exonerated > money talks > unproven or out of time was the appeal verdict
We have never spent more than we earn. PSG are the ones who spent more and more every year. We on the other hand signed Haaland for 56 million.
LOL....... 🤣
I don’t think so, but a club like Bayern Münich actually earn money to finance the club.
City is a mediocre club globally. Who knows city apart of the owners country and UK fans? U can’t say what you just said. They spend way more than what they make. They buy their way through year in year out. Money stops nonsense!!
Because cfg owns alot of clubs which generate revenue

I’d argue for the end of the prem.
UEFA accused City of cheating. But when asked to provide evidence, they had nothing. CAS dismissed the charges.
Today, the PL took four years to accuse City of cheating. Will be interesting to see how they come up with the evidence. Also, why didn’t they provide the evidence to UEFA so that City could be punished?
Saying City is cheating and proving it are completely different.
With UEFA there was a time limit
There’s no time limit this time and that’s where the premier league and FA has them by the balls they can’t argue that like they did with UEFA at CAS
@@SD_BRFC1997 time limits applied to some items. The ones that were reviewed, uefa had no evidence except the leaked emails from Der Spiegel.
F@juliusoba6488 Firstly, City got to pick 2 out of the 3 CAS panel members, which alone is laughable. Secondly, in terms of evidence, UEFA didn't 'have nothing'. CAS were well aware of City's cheating through fake sponsorship, as outlined in the judgment: “The management of [MCFC] was well aware that the payments … made by [a third party on behalf of ADUG] were made as equity funding, not as payments for the sponsor on account of genuine sponsorship liabilities.”
Basically City got away with it because a lot of crucial evidence was time-barred. Finally, the Premier League and UEFA are separate organisations with different rules and standards of evidence.

The press seem as usual to prefer Guilty till proven innocent rather than the rule of law. How can a team that owes nearly £1Billion in loans and outstanding transfer fees be ok under PL Rules.
