I have recently moved into my first ever apartment in London. After being asked to send photos/videos I thought it best to make a video where it shows everyone around. If you are interested in the apartments this may be helpful too.

I've read some reviews about lots of noise pollution from the outside and other tenants. How's the soundproofing?
It’s not bad! Could be a lot better. My neighbours I never hear however I hear the main road. Just made a view on all the issues!

Whether you rent or buy a flat in any of these blocks be aware of the cost of the service charges and try and avoid blocks of flats that have cladding, because this can be a nightmare for leaseholders.
Yeah! Thankfully all bills/ charges aren’t hidden. Do you rent??

I went through QUINTAIN living themselves. I sent an email and met with one of their agents.
Which letting agent did you use? I’m moving from the states
I went on to the QUINTAIN website. Once I put in my email address one of their letting agents reached out and we had a deal completed within 3/4 days including all paper work signed.
Looks impressive I was just offered a place there or in one of the quaintain properties at 25% off for the first year. Is there car parking ?
Yeah there is car parking but it costs around £150 a month in addition to your rent

So if you rent or pay a mortgage of say £1500 a month, on top of paying monthly rent or mortgage, and service charge you have to fork out an extra £150.00 a month to park your car in the parking bays onsite, considering rent and mortgage rates including service charge increase each year, wages are remaining low and not rising at the same rate of inflation, how is someone expected to find an extra £150.00 each month for an on-site parking bay, and I bet you £150p/m is for one car, some households have more than one car, two o three cars, so what do you do then. These people really know how to make their money. As nice as they seem you have to be a millionaire to live in one of these match boxes they call affordable homes for people.
@@dionnefrancis-brown1533 Yeah it’s crazy expensive! I’ve fortunate that we’ve got two decent incomes and we do not drive. I think the car park space should defo be included in the price. It’s a place for those who live/have a fancier lifestyle and somehow I’m here.. I’m going to enjoy the ride!

Hi! Yeah I moved in right away and got excited so decide to record a video. My wife was visiting a few days after I moved in so I waited before buying everything.
Niiiice - but what about car park ?
They have a car park in the basement area. However there is an additional fee, I think it’s £150 a spot. If you have visitors you can rent out a spot for a few days at a time.

Hiya was your price so low because you have key worker discount? I kniw Quintain offer a discount for teachers. It nay be the prices have increased now
@@NoodlesMusings hi! So the 1500 was a discount for the first year. My rent is 1600 now. However for me to extend my contract it will be around £2,000 +. They have hiked the prices up massively which I plan on making a new video on. One bedroom apartment are like gold dust. Hope this helps! ☺️
@@CDKE23 hiya, it helps alot thanks. If you speak to quintain and explain you are a teacher the 2000 cost should be about 1600 with the teacher discount. Not sure if avail in Canada Gardens but another couple of their buildings it is for sure. I think i remember you saying you or your wife was a teacher, if i wrong ignore that comment. Hi! My council tax is around 150 a month with a discount (25%) as I am a single occupant. For bills it depends but usually around 70-100 a month.
OMG i want to move in to that building!!! Is it still $1500? Also, as an american trying to move to london....seeing that costco makes me SO HAPPY lol
Hi! I loved our building but it came with a lot of problems as it was only new. Unfortunately the prices have increased massively and I think the cheapest apartment would cost around £2000 which is around $2500. I actually think it’s very unlikely to even get it at that price as well! The Costco was our saviour!! I have just moved to America so I know how much everyone loves it here
@@CDKE23 Ughh that is so frustrating. The prices are insane. I'm sure I'll find something though. That's so funny, you moved here, and I want to move there. I wonder if there's any other US stores they have over there.
Amazing apartment and I love the perks. My partner and I are heavily considering the apartments in Wembley and we wanted to know; is Wembley a safe and fun place to live in? and is the noise ever a problem? I would imagine it can get noisy. Also keep up the amazing content on youtube.
Thank you! It’s a really safe area and during game days it can get noisy on the Main Street but the building is really well designed so that we don’t see all the fans. I’ve never had any problems in my first 3 months around any noise ☺️
