I find it sometimes funny how foreigners don't know that college football players go to college for free on scholarships. It's like they think there's no benefit in it at all. Especially since most students have to go into debt for most their lives to pay for it for 4 years now, and it's only rising. Highschool, middleschool, and elementary school players however have to actually pay the school to play, which was always backwards in my eyes (parents do the paying). Especially since the ages it's played in has the same sort of violence for the sizes represented. It's common for kids to get injured constantly throughout those years playing without any benefit other than hoping a college you like is willing to give a scholarship to you upon graduating. NFL scouting typically starts with players who played all the way from elementary, to college. Edit: I also love the what is that filmed on comments they all without fail make lol. The biggest hits aren't necessarily all new hits from after 2010, but ones that have been recorded in general. Video quality from early 2000s and before might as well be black and white in technological comparison to what we're used to after 2015, and only getting better. Poor quality clips is just the reality of history. *(unless you have a time machine... I know you're hiding it)* Love the reaction! A bit late to the party, but you're awesome! the reason why they wear pads isnt what people who are fans of rugby think most rugby players think since they wear pads they are weak and babies not true they wear pads because NFL players are so big and powerful that if they didnt they would cut someone in half it is like going head to head with a fly and a MAC Truck not a fun experiencei had the honor to meet ray lewis and i asked him i would be honored if he would tackle me now ofcourse he didnt go near even half speed from what he normally does i couldnt picture him hitting me at full speed because it hurt when he was going maybe if im lucky 10 percent his full speed when he tackled me please let me know what you think

I would like to point out that it seems like the college players hit harder simply because they are trying their level best to become NFL players. Once they're in the NFL their game isn't quite as strong.

I like watching college football more than the pros for this reason, It's true that the college players don't get paid for playing. Fact is , college players have to try harder to get to the NFL where the money is BIG. Like alot of things here in the US , Dues must be paid....90 % of those hits are legal, the only time it's illegal is when the yellow flag comes out. my college career ended when both of my legs were broken at the same time during a tackle. i continued on as a defensive coordinator until i graduated. it was the best time of my life. Heres the thing, Brits and Europeans need to understand we Americans can be the nicest people You'll ever meet. But, we do enjoy our violence like the NFL and NHL. This is why Japan refers to the U.S. as "The Sleeping Giant."
