HOW TO SET UP THE ALARM
Prior to set up the alarm the time has to be set up. My previous radio has the steps on how to set up time. There are three options to set the alarm up. You can set it up as the buzzer, FM station to wake you up or DAB station. However if you live in an area that doesn't have DAB reception you should choose FM or BUZZER. If you have weak DAB reception the alarm may default back to BUZZER. Always have the antenna extended.

If the SANGEAN radio doesn't charge batteries please check if the switch is set to the correct position.
