    KD lives for basketball. It's all he does and cares about. It's good to see him notice how the negative emotions from missing shots and being so into it wasn't good for him, and recognize the stress, so he could correct himself and deal with it. And no player has returned from an Achilles injury like him. He's one of the greatest scorers and hoopers ever.

    Man hearing KD speak about his injury makes me have a better understanding about what players go through when it comes to athletes recovering from big time injuries some overcome it, but some stay in that mindset that they can't be the player they once was and then their careers end or fall off. It takes time to recover so we can't fairly criticize a players season or game when just recovering from massive injuries because they are still trying to get back in their peak form and could take from months to years to get that rhythm back. That's why we see guys like Hayward, Klay, Cousins, Rose, Wall, PG, IT, and now KD rediscovering their forms or roles to be impactful player for their teams.

    Derrick rose took all the stones 1st that make these current nba players not painted as villains or quiters when they take they time to come back. D.rose was something we never seen before and media and even me was so selfish for him to hurry up and come back from all injuries and play and didn't give him patience

    KD a legend ... These podcasts are the best! Screw Stephen A and those clowns making up narratives that aren't real . That is a thing of the past I think now with all these podcasts

    This is going to sound crazy. But KD was never a very explosive athlete. His game is based on length, height and pure skill. So the injury wasn’t as devastating as it would be for a player that needs pure athleticism

    • @randomdudez00
      @randomdudez00 Před 2 lety

      It would’ve been though. The reason he’s so good is because he can move like a guard at almost 7ft. But you’re right it would’ve been worse for someone like Zion

    Take notes. NBA players expect to hit 80% of their shots in workouts. That speaks to the level of skill they've developed.

    • @Christopher._M
      @Christopher._M Před 2 lety +1

      I would say the top skilled shooter are closer to 90-95% depending on the type of shot.
