I am surprised why they chose the characters, that was chosen …but no freakin Milhouse?!? I get getting Krusty the clown but no Sideshow Bob, that is crazy
I think the high cost ($55) per figure was due to the expensive rights that Super 7 had to pay Disney…I also was surprised how Super 7 quality control was bad in some figures….the legs on Devil Flanders is ridiculously loose and falls off easily
I love these secondary characters, but that is weird Super 7 didn’t have a line with the main characters….i really think this was a cost saving …I really wish I knew what Disney was asking Super 7 to get the toy rights …
With hearing other stories of how Disney operates. My guess is that they wanted Super 7 to do more modern items and things that tied into current content and S7 wanted to go the nostalgia route and it broke down.
I'm freaking pissed that the Marge and Lisa Simpson figures are cancelled that's the only reason why I subscribed to the website in the first place Why didn't they make core members of the Simpson family first WTF
I feel like if Super 7 didn't do the fancy packaging and put enough accessories in each and every product people wouldn't mind paying $55 but when you have small characters like Snarf and or figures having barely any accessories going for $55 the value ain't there. They need to bump up their quality and do the Mythic Legions route where retailers are not allowed to sell Mythic legions products for discount unless their whole inventory is on discount. For example they have strict MAP pricing and if you want to do a black friday sale with 50% off legions your whole store of other figures need to be discounted 50% off as well. Look at the secondary market for mythic legions they hardly are ever lower than retail price. While Super 7 you don't even have to preorder and they are flooded on eBay and or have outrageous 70-90% off sales. At the current rate they either need to pack in so many accessories the $55 is justifiable or drop the figures to $35 for the standard and only keep the $55-$65 for large figures
Great ep and Happy 100th🎉🎉🎉 I feel S7 had a great opportunity Im a big Thundercats fan and I have none of S7 releases. The quality and the price is a big reason ppl second think their decision. Lol were still talking bout purchase rules 😂😂😂
I do think S7 needs to refocus, I agree with you guys. But I’d love to see South Park figures from them. I think their style would fit well with South Park.
I think south park would be the perfect line for them. Limited articulation wouldn't really be a problem because of character design and tons of deep cuts for characters and accessories
I really want to thank you for bringing attention to this interesting topic

Happy 100 guys
Thank you! Here's to 100 more!

No, it was definitely not about Simpsons as a property itself. The balance and price was all the way off.

Will Disney even allow them to release wave 2-4?

That's wouldn't shock me at all tbh.

If the Robin Hood figure gets clearanced out for $20ish I’ll pick it up. I always wanted a figure of him as a kid.
That sounds like a good price for him and a lot others tbh

Disney is also known to raise their licensing fee at time of renewal. So the sales didn't match the new fee
That is very possible as well.

Thanks man! We appreciate you 😊
Yeah I 100% agree. They went from great quality to pretty 50/50 very quickly which made it hard to trust them
I don't know who hankscorpio either. The fuuuh. Did we ever see a comicbook guy? A Stan Lee, a RoboBart, nah.
Yeah the character choices make zero sense
I also think Disney chose not to renew the license and it wasn't them pulling it away.
Fair, but it's still not super7 's choice at that point
I have the storm collectibles Mike Tyson, and Balrog (M. Bison). I was excited to get a Drederick Tatum, I'm hoping it still gets released
I'm looking on CZcams for a review of the wave 3 and there is nothing
Simpsons or Disney? I don't think Simpsons has shipped yet idk about Disney.
@@ModernToyfare Disney (big bad wolf,Ali gator,Queen of Hearts,etc)
@@front2423 yeah Im pretty sure those haven't shipped either
Great video man 👏👏💖💖
Thanks man! Appreciate you
@@ModernToyfare anytime man. I appreciate you too 😁💖
By Jarmar’s logic, his game of the year would be one he hasn’t played 😂
Hahahaha you're not wrong
I’m disappointed Super7 Ultimates will never release a Little John or a Maid Marian to compliment Robin Hood and Prince John.
For Super 7 TMNT wave 7 got skipped. Wave 8 came out a month or so ago.
Yeah that sounds about right
I give Super7 credit for trying something different even if it "failed". Hopefully they'll take those lessons and apply them going forward.
I don't know. I feel like wave 1 orders couldn't have been that crazy which should have been the first indicator to maybe shift directions lol
