    Great video, thank you.
    I just got the 1-6 code on the ECU (Incorrect adjustment/failure in APV cable.) and your video puts everything into perspective. My M1000 will be a raped ape once again very soon.
    Appreciate your hard work.

    Good video I have a 2015 M8 that I need to clean the power check valves. I just bought it and it's in pretty good condition with only 1500 miles on it, but leaks gas while sitting in garage so I think i need to clean them Thanks for the step by step.

      If it's gas it could be a cracked fuel line or gas tank.

    The blades are beveled does the bevel go up or down towards the crank.

      The shape of the blade will only let it fit in one way, they can't be installed upside down.

    Did you found the broken part of the spring in the casing of your powervalve or it pass in the cylinder ??

    • @TitanTown
      @TitanTown  Před rokem +2

      Yeah it stays inside the cap of the powervalve.

    Did this helped you out? Was the spring the problem for your check engine lamp? And did the sled before you doin this video run in limp mode?

    • @TitanTown
      @TitanTown  Před rokem

      The spring was the problem. It didn't run in limp mode but ran better after.

    Would something like this cause the engine to stop randomly without any check engine lights? I've been trying to fix my 2011 f8 for months now can't figure out the problem.. today I'm going to need to replace the cable.. not sure if that would cause the sled to stall - runs well.. until it stalls lol :(

      I don't think so. A bad stator would cause that problem. I've had to replace a couple of stators on my F8 and F1000.

    Quick question at the end of the video setting the cables they were good. U hooked up the servo and then u said u loosened the cables for little slack wouldnt that mess up your measurement?? Love the video thank you in advance

    • @TitanTown
      @TitanTown  Před 2 lety

      The cable length is set by the barrel adjusters and jam nuts.

    • @TitanTown
      @TitanTown  Před 2 lety +1

      I loosened it by rotating the servo itself to create the slack to get them hooked up not readjusting the cable length.

    Did the large spring come with the new cable?

    • @TitanTown
      @TitanTown  Před rokem +1

      No, only the small ones that are on the end of the cable. Purchase the large ones separately.

    How was your sled running before u changed that?

    • @TitanTown
      @TitanTown  Před 2 lety

      It was running ok but I was getting an occasional check engine light for the power valves.

    Slot? Is this some how w a reference to the large or small beveled edge? I see a slot where the power valve goes into the engine but lol no slots are on the valve.

    • @TitanTown
      @TitanTown  Před rokem

      The "slot" i am referring to is the at the bottom of the space that the powervalves fit into on the cylinder. They will only fit in one way you can't put them in upside down.

    How do I know the number when trying to adjust the cables at the end when putting at back together, any link or something? I got a 2010 arctic cat m8

    • @TitanTown
      @TitanTown  Před 2 lety

      The service manual for your sled.

  • @walterplumm7587
    @walterplumm7587 Před rokem

    Interesting how he keeps referring to a "slot". The videos never does show how the blade is orientated

    • @TitanTown
      @TitanTown  Před rokem

      Blade will only orient one way, its designed so they can't go in upside down.

    • @jasonjones8804
      @jasonjones8804 Před rokem +1

      On the sled he is working on there is like a tab coming off side of valve so they can only go one way as it must match the shape of the hole.
