for the high beams you have to push the brake lever forwards there is a little switch in the brake that switches it from high to low and if I remember in 03 you could order them with the Dimond drive or chain case

I've got a friend with the 700 and I've got 800rmk and he rips on that sled! He's right beside me till about 60 then I start creeping away but those little red things are fast. I'm in Colville Washington so we're right next to trail border crossing. Your fearless leader don't like to let us in yet but some have come down last race season from Canada to race at out dirt track in Northport. We do fever 4 street stock and modifies. Loads of fun! Can't wait to see the 700 race. Artic cat good!!

You can switch between kph and mph. Headlight dimmer is the brake lever. Flip it forward and you got dims, which is the outter 2 lamps. There's a mod for making all the headlights on when the brights are activated. 03 efi is the fastest year of this model so they say. I have an 03 sno pro efi f7 and its a fun sled. Leave it stock and just clutch/stud it good and shes a weapon.

So very true. I had an 03F7 that I put a mild clutch kit in it and the interesting thing was I also put in a 2° advance Key on the mag side. 900s and thousands couldn’t touch my little F7 stock, but with the key, all they saw was dust. Fastest I ever had it down on the lake was 120 miles an hour.

The high and low beam is on the brake lever, push it forward.
Also Pete I would run that switch on ethanol. But run non ethanol fuel. Say 91 or 93 octane. That's which adds 3% more fuel. So you run non-ethanol fuel in ethanol mode for more dangle!!!!!!
Make sure to mention my smartness in the next video. Peace Corey!

Had ridden all the big-bores being a tech and was blown away by the handling, power, speed, suspension that I bought one a week later. Just like him I'm a Yamaha guy, but the F7 was the first and only green sled I owned. Had an 04 Pro XR 800 too cause I loved the look and the seat. WISH I woulda held onto it. đŸ€Ź

Brake lever forward is high beam. The big tank filler saved us one time motoring through franconia notch and ran out of fuel at 5 am and 10 degrees... used a bud bottle to bail out some gas for the chevy. was a great day after that.

I wouldn't put the studs in myself. When I raced my 2000 MXZ 700 in 1000 ft ice events, I only had 96 down the middle and got first or second place. We found the extra stud weight slowed it down and definitely did with bigger lug tracks on snow. Stock (zero mods) it would do 106 mph with stock track on snow and with a 1 1/4 lug track it did 86 or 88. If you're like my Yamaha buddy, he always went 144 or more no matter what I said. I will say, the year these F7 Fire cat's came out, was the day I retired from racing that 700 on ice. Those Fire cats took over! I F7 hate them! That thing should should stomp the Polaris.

Clutched f7s with a y pipe and a stock exhaust can make some really good power the big heavy can that comes on these sleds actually make the best power wen combo'd with a y pipe pipe and clutching those 700 motors are bulletproof too

Those power valves do get dirty and need to be cleaned with a wire wheel to get all the carbon off usually if your sled feels doggy or slow and not getting peak 7900 rpm then you should clean the powervalves

I owned an '04 F6 ext 144" track.... best sled I ever owned. Sold it with 7200 km on it in 2009. Never spent a penny on it in repairs, just wear parts of course. Wish I still had it. Such a fun sled to ride. And crazy fast. I would beat most 800's of the same era.

I had an 05 f7 snopro with speedwerx pipe and can. Adjustable fuel pressure regulator with a gauge. It also had a reflashed ecm. That thing was impressive. I wish I didn’t sell it. Xc 700’s didn’t stand a chance.

You should throw an MDRP on it I haven't 04 snopro F7 with that can and that sounds nice!! I'm leaning towards the F7 is going to smoke the Poop laris poop lol đŸ»

That F7 will smoke scooter. A head of its time for the year. Will beat most newer sleds today! Game on!!

Hay ding-dong push the brake lever forward for the high low beams!!😁

The F7's were very fast sleds, they gave 800cc sleds fits. The high/low beam is the brake lever, push forward on the brake lever

I've unhooked plenty of throttle safeties on Cats. Unless the 03 is different, your kill switch definitely won't work. I still send em. Nice one Pete. Love the videos.
