- we made it out to horseshoe lake for a radar run event put on by the seguin snowmobile club. it was a great day but unfortunately for us it was just a snow track and not an ice track so speeds weren't exactly what we were looking for but still a great time! there were some good people out there and some good sleds too! hope ya's enjoy the video 🍻

Great stuff wish couple 1100’s ran but that boost made up for it.
First time iv saw a boost run radar haven’t saw any good races either.
Everything seen on boost really not clear except the radar run ur video shows.

They certainly are faster than the Evinrude snowmobiles I learned on in '72. They were trucked to the mountains from the Bay Area for weekend tours. My parents hosted one of the tours at a resort.

I was the unofficial speed recorder at that event... I had your buddy (green cat) as #2.. official speed keeper had a 2nd guy that ran a 136... but it was the same sled (apex you had on video. ) I couldn't convince the official keeper that only 1 sled ran a 136. Unless the Apex had two registration numbers, I don't know where they came up with the other number.

Hare to tell but it sounds like JP'S secondary is opening way befor the primary is closed.
Got to get the xmsn dialed in for the track, that taks lots of runs and notes brute power is only part of the equation.
I'm assuming you are traction limited. Do you re-gear your sleds when you add power?

The larger the angle that you have between you and the radar the slower the reading. If you are directly in front of the radar you will have a true reading plus or minus 2 mph.

Yep Polaris factory turbo, first year for the trail sleds, last year saw a turbo mountain sled skidoo releases it's 850 turbo next year. Waiting on the triple two stroke turbo TBH

Sitting straight up in the wind resistance is not conducive to maximum speed... horsepower required increases exponentially with speed. Seriously it will scrub maximum speed. Stop sniffing the gas.
God I hate the 4 stroke sound
You should have brought that f7 out there. That sled tuned right will smoke those side by sides. 4 stokes are junk.
Have yet to see one good launch on a high horsepower 4 stroke let alone a higher speed then a cheap 2 stroke can achieve. Up stick to 2 strokes!! Can have 3 machines for the price of one built 4 stroke and smoke every machine there. 😅😅😅
