I run a 2008 Arctic Cat ATV up here in North Pole. On my ATV it is usually the kill switch on the left handle has been tripped or under the seat there is a switch so the battery does not drain.
The kill switch is often over looked!
I have a 2008 articat 400 4x4 it’s getting spark and fule but just cranks and backfires sometimes I checked timing and it’s good

Hello I have a question, so I have a 2008 can-am ds 450 .
For some reason it Turn on and drives if I continue to give it gas . But as soon as I sit in one place for longer then 30 seconds it turns off , and keeps doing that , I thought it would be the fuel pump relay but I already change it and it’s doing the same thing can you help me out
Seems like it isn’t getting enough gas to die at idle. Check that your RPMs are to spec at idle then check that it’s getting fuel pressure.
My 4 wheeler has everything it is still not starting, I might resort to starting fluid.
My fren flipped his fourwheeler going 60 and when we try to start it back up it doesn't even make a noise and his screen isn't coming on
I would check all the connections, check the fuel pump is working, make sure it's getting spark, etc. If the screen isn't coming on then there may be a broken connector or wire somewhere.
I replaced my 2018 VLX 700 fuel pump & it ran for a year. Swapped fuel pump again with a Quantum kit.
It started doing this then all of a sudden fuel pump quit turning on/pump has no voltage

What year is this cat, its a 700 but siliar to 550
It’s a 2013. The 550 and 700 are very similar!
The Rollover / tilt switch sometimes can cause this

I would work through my princess of elimination to find out what’s not working. Some things I would check are making sure the battery terminals are tight.
Get your battery load tested.
Check for spark/replace spark plug.
Trim coil wire for better connection.
Make sure you’re getting 43psi fuel pressure.
Test your fuel injector.

I have a 1998 Honda Fourtrax 300 4×4 and i was driving through the woods and it cut off so i went to kickstart it and it wont start

Sounds like a bad electrical connection somewhere. Check the coil wire is connected good.

“Backfires sometimes” is exactly what mine is doing.
