    With all the hurdles that you guys encounter, you could be Olympic runners. That piston might have even robbed you a little power. Get her all back together and send her home guys. 😀

    finally someone said that about 6boost
    i have said it in the past and was always flamed.
    SINCO and CRG didn't have those issues from personal testing.

    I really feel for you Ref the issues with the engine and A/C system. In my opinion the A/C system design is very poor if it is that finicky about ‘must run coolant’.
    I know so many high performance cars that are run in and sorted on the chassis dyno and then on the road with water in the cooling system to ensure engine head gaskets seal up and check the complete cooling system before filling the cooling system with coolant.

    awesome car, but i think he'll be wanting an overdrive pretty soon, out with the T400

      Totally right. He should pull the reliable unbreakable 400 out and put a questionable unreliable OD box in it. What was he thinking even if it isn't his daily driver.

    Had to put my gate on the rear housing and go a 60mm gate on my g40

    What timing is she saying that's enough on 98?
    From say 3000rpm to 6000rpm?

    Sick of the t400 being taxing talk there actaully not bad at all. Compared to a 6l80. 9 inch is taxing but it wont break well with that power

      6L80 are incredibly efficient. Not even close to how taxing a T400 or 4L80 is

      @@stevenkirk2563 As far as gearbox's go, we haven't really come across any that are more taxing than T400/4L80e, maybe RE4. But as far as auto boxes they are some of the most inefficient out there when it comes to robbing power.

      As annoying as it be id love to see say a good runner 400 hp/450hp at tyres VE so u could go throw the boxes at it on a dyno 6l80,4l80,4l60,powerglide,th350,th400 I think there basically the normal besides ford ZF and c4. That test cost a million bucks but

    Hey mate what’s your opinion on the 6 boost promod style manifolds? Do they have the same boost spike issues?

      Generally yes. But it also really comes down to your hotside. Because we went small as possible with this hotside to try get bulk response means we need to bleed off more exhaust gas than a bigger turbo would. So the issue is exacerbated by the fact the gassy has higher compression and our hotside is very small, about the hardest combination to work with.

      @@BoostGumps cheers appreciate the reply plan on going big 4” exhaust and was looking at going the pneumatic straight gate 50 on the promod manifold will be looking at pushing as much as 30psi but hoping to have like a 10psi spring so the missus can drive it

    I’m sorry guys, great looking wagon but putting a Barra in a HQ is sacrilege in so many ways. So many other greater options to choose but that is so wrong in so many ways in my books but that’s me personally, at lest I don’t have to drive it.

      @@colinmiles9390 I mean, I'm all for the rivalry and racing heritage, and was always a holden fan growing up. But let's be honest, everything Holden ever brought to cars that could actually make decent power came from the US. Holden continuously put out flawed engines that are notoriously hard and expensive to get real power out of. Every holden owner running a Chev to make actual power has been running Ford diffs since the dawn of time. Even higher powered 308's needed GM USA Hydromatics.
      Given the options for making decent power in a Holden, I feel an aussie engineered and built inline 6 is less sacrilege than the alternative of a USA designed and built V8, but that's just me.
