- Turns out Gran Turismo 7 wasn't a big fan of us milking the Tokyo Expressway... though we're right back to it with a few tweaks! However, the new BRZs are the focus of todays video. The 2021 Subaru BRZ S & the 2021 Subaru BRZ GT300!

The Tomahawk can still be tuned to 594 PP after update 🙃 Just look for the tune on the Gran Turismo reddit (its even quicker now lmao)
just limit ecu and power to 90 and add 3 ballasts
Yep, just a few changes but it’s pretty much the same. So glad everyone is constantly scrambling to find ways to make more money lol, I could NEVER figure this out on my own.

The car felt so stable bc they fixed the snap oversteer issue with the RWD car physics. About time too, I've stopped playing for almost a month bc of this issue.
So drifting is better now? Or just for the tomahawk?

same here fucking hate that they screwed up the handling more and more after gt5 and gt6 they are the best handling, gt sport was changed but still acceptable except for some weird handling car but gt7 is bad
The BRZ or 86 is pretty much the perfect 'achievable' sports car. It's such a shame cars like this aren't going to be sold at all in a few years.
As a kid you look at cars like these and think 'one day'. Not anymore.

As someone who bought the new BRZ instead of the GR86... I'm actually really happy about this update.
Plus, I liked how older GT games had multiple trims/versions of each car. Not every Skyline owner has a GTR and even less Skylines are V-Spec.

What’s the BRZ like to drive?
Having multiple trims is fine, but it's annoying when they're counted as separate cars. What's the point in having hundreds of cars if 25% of them are just yet another variant of a Skyline or MX5?
@@benstringalong4448 it feels really good honestly. The power bump feels fantastic and the car is still light and toss-able.
It's probably one of my favorite driving experiences at the price point aside from an S2000.
@@tomkat492 I have a sapphire on prius tires and some STi pieces, duckbill and acc lights. It's my first manual, and I feel so comfortable tossing those tires around. I slide out the back every u-turn, and know where the edge of grip is on the tire and can even control the turn, it's awesome and the power band with an N2 catback; just fun to hear. 4k markup was worth it...even when you consider some people in Europe are in fomo lol
Can confirm, too: Your Tomahawk X video you showed off for the fast money grind STILL WORKS, but with a very minor tweak: Go with Sport Mediums for the tire compound and add 12kg of ballast. That's all you need to get it right to use the car.

If GT Sport is any indication they'll support the game with content for at LEAST 1 year, and we can expect tracks within that.
The thing I love the most is that when you change your car in your garage it plays the real life cars engine sound and it’s amazing

No, it's very specifically Gran Turismo behavior. It was the main big complaint of the GT series once Forza was introduced with actual car variety. People were crying about there being 20 different models of the same cars for ages.
From what I have seen, GT is doing a lot better than Forza Horizon 5 when it comes to adding new cars and better ones. Forza is just recycling with the older games and older cars.
The Tomahawk still works. Use the same tires and gearing, and adjust the following:
Output Adjustment 98% / Ballast 9kg / Ballast Positioning -32 / Power Restrictor 70% / Front Toe Angle 0.11 Out

Nobody needs proof. Plenty of different settings originally that work, and plenty of different ones now that are based off those. I'll stick with the one that gives me close to 600 PP while using Racing Hard tyres that last, and as little else as possible other than those gear ratio settings.

When you added the wide body the back reminded me of an old Mitsubishi Eclipse GT
I've done my hw on BRZs and want one. Their actually affordable and good on gas. Also can take turns like a boss and handles very well from what I've read and videos I've seen.

Tomahawk can still play, tuned nearly as fast as before but wears out the tires quickly. Tires will be bald by race end but still very farm-able.
I'm using a tune with full hp and RH and can still manage 17min runs 🤷♂️, still looking for one with IM as I can take corners at speed from corner 1...

I think they just changed the PP in general because my WRX which was 599 and I used to use for that race before the Tomahawk it changed to 615 after the update, but I could still tune a few small things to get it back down.

Tomahawk accidentally got way better actually, Now you can do a lot of different setups that work under 600pp vs before with the one meta build. I can run CS tires and nostop the race in under 20 minutes still. (all I did was keep the same old setup + CS tires + more ballast weight) and my car is now 522PP
I've bought the cappuccino after the update and the new BRZ Has more PP than the GR86 but the horsepower only has 404 horses with mid turbo set up
You can use the same tomahawk tune and add 12kg ballast at -25 and it’ll be like 577pp ish
Tuned mine down to 578 by adding intermediate tyres haha
I've noticed the less money I have the better the roulette tends to be. Found that by accident. Had a 3 star and only 6k in the bank and got $500,000 for the first time ever.

Technically Subaru is on the Toyota Motor Corp. So that's definitely the reason why they got some similarities

Fun fact BRZ always be a more grippier version of 86 and that's why the BRZ lap time is faster than the tail happy 86. The "car enthusiast" should know about it because Japanese media is always testing and talking about how different the BRZ and 86 is 🙄. Actually it's really good that GT7 give us BRZ so we can feels how different 86 and BRZ is

If they wanted to add a subaru they should added a GD chassis STi. (Bugeye, blobeye, or hawkeye)
The gt300 brz is cool though and a natural addition since it won the championship last year.

I can’t tune my tomahawk x in the 590s pp range without an error message and a black triangle. I even tried racing hards and changed the toe angle but still no luck.

You should look at the supposed GT300 kit for the GR86, it looks VERY different from the BRZ GT300
The actual GT300 version of the GR86 is also pretty different to the BRZ GT300 since the hood is so much taller since they're using a V8 rather than a Flat-4 like the BRZ.
I did the human comedy on maggoire with the z4 and barely won I was getting around 1:57 - 1:59 laps. If I had the BRZ GT300 it would’ve been hella easy. I was getting 1:54 - 1:55 laps (RM) easy smh 🤦🏼♂️

Electric cars won’t be as bad as people think they will be, I’m thinking half motor half electric so more POWA 💥. Unfortunately engine sounds just won’t be what they used to be, I’m sure they can come up with a way to put a sound for the exhaust lol.

The reason Toyota is in bed with gran turismo is because gran turismo promotes the only form of racing Toyota approves which is closed circuit racing. Games like need for speed don't have Toyotas as Toyota feels need for speed promotes street racing and Toyota is not entirely happy with the idea. As for the addition of the BRZ, it's a bit of a comeback to the amount of variants of the car in Gran Turismo 6 as there was the GT86, the BRZ, and even the Scion FRS from America. All three the same car but different names. It's a comeback to preference and variety I think

I'd have to disagree with the 86 opinion. It doesn't look like a copout to me but more of just adding newer models to the game. Can you imagine for the next couple years you have to drive the 2013 model
actully brz isnt the same as the 86 cuz the suspinsion and diff are not the same in the two and the fitment is a lil diffrent

You can't nerf something that wasn't meant to be used the way it was... It actually was fixed not nerfed... But it's still possible with some new tweaking so I'm sure if you search well enough on Reddit you will see the update to the "anti-nerf" happy exploiting!
