- -This is a little series I'm making were I beat wave 666 as all the tf2 classes.
-I've beaten this wave so many times and gotten so close to getting A+ (so far record being 8) that I decided to record me beating it as proof since a lot of people think It's impossible. So why not do it with every class :)
-Also I just don't see a lot of this map on CZcams, so...here ya go.
-The actual map is called mvm_ghost_town

All 9 the classes are usefull...
IF the player knows how to use them.
My classes in Mannhattan:
Scout - Collect the money, buy resistanses.
Soldier - Defend the gates.
Engineer - Use Remote (to shoot enemies from distanses whit sentry).
Medic - Heal and use shield.
Sniper - Jarate and Huntsman.
Sans Finnish
Why huntsman though? The Machina is note useful than the huntsman.
A Raichu the hitman heatmaker is the best sniper rifle

Scout is easy when I got used to it, i was so good that I took the blu Intel 3 times in a row on 2fort and people tried to kick me

One of the many things I love about Mann vs. Machine mode is that, even though the team's best chance is if it is made of the classes featured in the release trailer, the other classes can also be extremely helpful to the team, even hold their own, if in the hands of a good, team-minded player. This video is a superb example of this, in my opinion.

I saw it and still do not wish to see spys on 666. For money collection you can have a scout. Infact scout is also great at taking out singular targets expect he does far more damage once you upgraded the primary. I had rounds as scout where I dealt 180.000 damage to tanks alone (my current record damage wise) So litarly anything spy can do scout can do better and be even essential for the win.
In 666 even a god of a spy is mediocre at best.

@@olegtrushin6220 And then why did you bring this up? Spy is amazing in any other wave I give you that. There is no one better at taking out giant targets besides the heavy medic combo. But in other waves its normally sniper that gets banned (due to too many kiddies thinking they can aim) since he can't keep up with the damage of the spy. In 666 their roles are reversed which is quite funny.

It just wastes your life for something useless. Both of your points do make sense, I will agree. But the whole argument is pointless. You don't get a prize, a trophy, nothing. I don't understand the point of that. Though I understand, alot of people argue for no reasons and just to get points across. But this- I don't understand. It's not that important. And if by god you have an answer to all this, why don't you tell me?

Xander TheFanboy There's both a training mode, coaching, a large variety of guides online, and so many things that a player should try before they just jump into something like nightmare MVM, the other five players on the team have the right to not have their time wasted by someone who took no effort to learn the game prior to doing something like this.

Imagine if MvM had a highlander mode where there can be up to nine players on a team with a one player per class limit. Some people wouldn't like it because sometimes their favorite classes might already be taken. However, it would give sniper and spy a chance to be used outside of wave 666.

I checked the TF2 MVM wave generate website, and yes... there is tiny sentry busters.
Broken model of demoman... 1/20 demoman robots have thus glitch
Hmm perhaps a nice idea would be that sentry busters are very prone to sappers, so that the spy could be a serious aid for the engineer [contrary to being their enemy]
As long as your team deals with the rest of the robots, the engineer can sometimes deal with sentry busters himself. You just pick up you sentry, run near it and then run away again and place it back down.
Yeah but I meant in a way the sentry buster doesn't explode, because the explosion can kill other teammates too

Believe it or not, Huntsman snipers are EXTREMELY powerful in MVM.

ShadowSaberBaroxio Yep. Snipers are extremely important (with the right weapons) in 666. You will always get those people who scream "NO SNIPERS!" at the start of every round though.

I played MVM and i want to point out that its not only the Pyros who are actually the worst enemy here. Scouts are known to do flanks around the Giant while spraying their bullets so its difficult for me to perform a backstab on a medic because of the scout thats turning the medic around while he is healing his robot ally so i have to back away.. i know this is 8 years ago and if u are alive still mr painkiller, i watched your mvm vids. Thanks for the tips and recommended loadout my friend.

+Austin Thacker Air Strike? Beggars combined with a Buff Banner is an absolute dynamite, especially if you're near a Heavy or Demoman.
Mr. Game & Watch That's the point! Beggar's Bazooka fires rockets with a 3 degree difference. More areas to shoot, more splash damage, more containment, plus it recharges the Buff Banner easily.

You should've used the Eternal Reward so you could disguise quicker when getting a backstab kill
Yeah, but the problem is getting the first backstab. Without a disguise, and running up that close to bots, they're all going to turn to you, making a backstab near impossible, and you know....shoot you in the face.

The YER is literally the worst MvM Knife. Try using the YER on Nighmare difficulty and see what happens. Its near impossible to do anything with it.
DABOSS0706 It's worse than that actually. Even if you do somehow get a backstab, there is an added delay between the kill and the disguise that will still alert every both in the area of your treachery, meaning that the YER fails at even it's most basic of jobs in MvM.
The best knife to use is either the Stock, the Kunai for the free overheal, or the Big Earner to help recharge your Dead Ringer, i.e. the only thing that makes the Spy viable in MvM. I personally prefer Kunai because upgrading the Knife is expensive as heck, and you really, really, need those Armor Penetration upgrades. Getting health on kill for free definitely helps when it comes to maxing out your knife when you need it. That said you die to anything unless you can get that first stab.
Personally I use the "last disguise" bind on my keyboard.

Cringe Control actually, a gunslinger can be really helpful if you want to get your stuff out quickly. also, mini-sentries fire and turn faster than normal sentries

The problem with this (as to the most recent update) is that the dead ringer no longer recharges with ammo boxes, you have to wait for it to refill, making the use of the l’étrange more viable. And I saw one comment about the eternal reward, you CAN disguise yourself with it (again, as to the most recent patch) but takes all your cloak meter, you’d had to disguise in the spawn in order not to use the bar.

I mean the spy has some decent abillities like 1 shotting that annoying ass robo heavy (or any robot that isn't a giant) but he sucks ass if you aren't playing with really good offensive characters on your team.
He sucks in every way. SO bad that if you play a shit ton of matches against TF2 bots NONE of your teamates will be a spy the'll usually be scouts,engineers and demomen they don't even play as support characters other than medic.

So basically you have really good teammates and you kill about 5-8 things a minute and completely waste your crit on kill effect every time you get it. Seems like a solid strategy to me.
I think you missed the part where Spy isn't mean't to get a lot of kills, only has the roles of Giant Killing and Money Picking, and he didn't have really good teammates. They were good, but not REALLY good.
No fuckin shit it isn't supposed to get alot of kills, but give me one good reason why to waste money on the crit on kill effect if you NEVER use it? You can't excuse that. Also you're wrong, spy has the role of slowing down/completely shutting down bots as well and I really think you would've mentioned that with it being Spy's greatest tool by far. There's no damn reason for him to be just sitting around doing jack shit half the time when he could be sapping groups of bots or actually killing them with the upgrades he clearly shouldn't have gotten. A bot may have been able to do what he was doing better.

Lennon1398 The Crit On Kill was an investment for the Tank/Spy part of the wave. Spy is weakest against tanks, the the more firepower the better. Besides in Wave 666, you practically have all the money in the world. Why not spend it?. But you missed another part. Did you notice how quickly the robots went after him once he got a kill? Spy is squishy as hell, and has to pick his battles carefully. There were a few times in the video where his desire for a kill results in him getting killed. If he were to use his crit on kill as often as you say he should, he would be worse than useless.
For some reason, i always loved how the robots are dressed as zombies.

If you wait for the giants to be distracted by your teammates, you can get 3 (if you're lucky 4) backstabs on them.
My favorite part around 25:00 is when everyone you backstab kill one of the Soldiers, they all freak out and make you go flying.
I don't know why, but I find it hilarious.
