Pretty cool! I would like to see if one can be transformed from an Ecto 1 to an actual 1959 combination car that the original one was shown as being in the movie or as an actual full hearse complete with vinyl roof and Landau bars looking like it it just rolled off the Miller-Meteor assembly line in Piqua Ohio back in the 1950s

I don't think light bars would survive well in the Mad Max universe as they are made from plastic. Maybe those should be partially broken?

just an idea but I think you should make a mechanic's garage diorama to showcase the cars in, like the ones from the 60s with all the bright signs and oily tools lying everywhere. it would look incredible but I presume would be heaps of work.

Interesting take on a MadMaxification. I do like how you layer your colors, and where this one in concerned the interior details were really good. I don't mind 2-parters, by the way. While I'm at it, good on ye for giving your bump to Marty. Between you and Marty and DCR there's a lot of top-notch content out there, and it's nice to see you guys support each other. exactly what I was gonna say "DeLorean" XD interested to see a whole range of them :)
There's probably a cut-off point though. The Batmobile for instance will probably ruin the suspension of disbelief.
Perhaps something like the General Lee, the Bluesmobile, Herbie, A-team van, Christine. KITT might be over stretching the idea? Though it might be fun imagining what whould happen to a computer personality if it were damaged/abandoned for some time.

Cool build. You should look into using the technique of drybrushing to add the bright rust colour. Look up the citadel drybrush colour called ryza rust. Drybrushing gives a much better effect than sponging the highlights on. It works brilliantly after washes.

These kinds of models usually have pullback motors, so that lump molded in the interior was to make space for the would-be pullback motor. A little cleared area can be seen also on the base to make room for the motor. I don't know why one wasn't put in this one.

I feel like this would looks excellent with some old metal gas canisters and a small roof hatch to allow the passengers easy access to the weaponry you’ve placed on top. Also, maybe one of the head lights could also be removed or be made to appear destroyed to simulate past attacks that have been to the front of the car. Another idea would be to have a gasser style intake visible through a rectangular cut in the top of the hood, but that may prove difficult to pull off convincingly without actually putting a whole motor up there. But that’s all I’ve got!

Cut part of the rear windows out, not all the glass in a madmax world would have survived. This way anybody who looks on the inside can see your detail work on the inside. Also maybe build some styrene armor or shielding on the outside or roof instrument cluster.
