Brewzle, you are a staple in the Bourbon world. Every distillery in America should be begging you to come do tours, take part in barrel picks, and give us your honest opinions of their bourbon. You’re quickly becoming a bourbon icon!
I second this
I am trying to get there! I love doing these types of videos. Thank you for the kind words
@@Brewzle You’re almost there brother! I’m speaking it into existence for you!
That was something totally new and really exciting! Keep up with the flow, TJ!
Thank you!
Such a trustworthy demeanor! Love your reviews thank you sir !!
Fantastic video. Really cool to see this part of the process.
Love PinHook!!!!!!!
One of the most interesting Small Batches is the Teeling
Awesome video. Love this and the barrel pick video. This is the behind the scenes the average person never gets to see but is always curious about.
Awesome video!
Very interesting post, I never knew the process was so hands on. Thanks for the video pal.
Love Pinhook - I had the pleasure of meeting that owner at Justin's House of Bourbon in early August just by chance. He told the story of the blending. I had a sample and bought some bottles. My friends have really enjoyed the introduction and look forward to more.
Well said!
This was a very cool video. Glad to see some content about the Whiskey Industry instead of just bottles. Watching people sit at a table and rate, rank, and order whiskey is a bit overdone on YT. Bourbon hunts where people just play music and show racks of bottles are over done. The niche in the YT bourbon world is your style of bourbon hunt (talking to stores and patrons) and behind the scenes type stuff with distilleries and liquor stores.
ADHD Whiskey, Mash and Drum, and Fred Minnick have the tasting and grading stuff pretty much covered. They each have good palates and tackle tastings different - Comedy, History, and Industry. Bourbon Junkies and Whiskey Tribe pretty much take care of "whiskey entertainment", though Whiskey Tribe has been a bit lax on video content and interesting things. Both of those channels are also providing some day in the life of a distillery content which is super interesting. What they don't provide is how larger craft or big brands operate. None of them show how liquor stores truly operate.
The point - I think this channel excels with this type of content, the Spillway bottle selecting stuff, and your bourbon hunts. The stuff like the Kentucky Derby didn't fit this channel. That video would be a different animal if it was created by someone younger. The party scene and TJ doesn't seem to be a good collab. That video would need someone like Danny Duncan to make it a real smash success.
Great video!!!
Love the content and was wondering if this idea was something you'd be interested in putting on the channel. What if you poured each of the bottles in your collection (yeah I know its a lot of work) into single serving sample bottles, and labeled them a,b,c etc. Then put them in a box, grabbed five bottles out randomly at a time and ranked them based on how much you like them and revealed them at the end. That would be something I know we would love to watch.
great video!! so much knowledge
Dude in the green polo has one hell of a haircut!!
I almost bought a bottle of this yesterday but never heard anything about it…..going back tomorrow now for it lol
Update, got it lol
Is it good
Very cool. Love the transparency. Hope to try a bottle of Pinhook in the future
Thank you! Cheers!
As a head lab tech at a major oil refinery I’m cringing at the pipette skills haha.
Very interesting & cool to watch! Thanks for documenting that for us.
I love Pinhook. Just picked up their 2023 high proof release and and about to get the high proof rye.
Have loved every Pinhook I've ever tried
Great video. Fun and informative on the process. I’ll need to try some Pinhook now.
Man yeah! Got the Pinhook Bourbon Vertical and ready to add the 8 year. Let's go!
Love Pinhook. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you too
Very cool for vids like these with behind the scenes on how these processes are done.
Pretty cool TJ. It’s about what o was thinking on how it would be made.
That was super cool, looks like a lot of work! 👍
Never had their stuff before. Makes me want to try it now.
Interesting behind the scenes video. Thanks!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
"this whole spitting it out thing is new to me"...I about peed my pants ;-)
🤣
This was really neat! Thanks for sharing!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Glad you enjoyed it
Being connected and with a grate personality and a hot CZcams channel ur in bro. Good shhht dude cheers….
Wow.
Quite a process. I have yet to try a pinhook but have been eyeing up the high proof. Apparently you approve?? Enjoy!!
I love it!
i will now buy a pinhook bottle lol
I take a sip every time my boy brezle says oakiness
I find my palette is very sensitive to oak tannins.
Damn just saw this an tried to buy from them, but they only ship to the US and im in Denmark. is there any way to things klike this to europa?
Tell Caroline I'm head over heals in love with her, and if she's married... im the better barrel pick by a long shot!
Hello sir, any chance you will review former UFC fighter Brendan schaubs whiskey called Tiger Thiccc? I can't get it in Canada and would love to see what you think of it
You should try Whiskey Acres out of DeKalb Illinois. They grow their own corn and distill their own whiskey.
How do they keep a consistent ratio on every blend? Don't these barrels have different amounts of liquid in them due to angels share and evaporation? I can't imagine this is super spot on unless they can keep an accurate measuring of the barrels. Or, if they are blending equal amount of each barrel in a building block, where does the left over whiskey go that didn't make it the equal part blend?
It is my understanding that they blend equal parts in the tasting but the final blend will be the full barrels with the understanding that differences in yield of the barrels won’t have a significant impact at scale. They have already examined the barrels and selected them so no surprise short barrels to throw the ratio off.
so i have a question, there is a lawsuit between sazarak and the rdnc, in certain regions, they pulled buffalo trace product from the shelves, i just happen to fall in that catagory, i live in wyoming, so i was wondering if you might know where i can pick up a bottle or two of buffalo trace, i managed to buy a bottle the night before they pulled it, but now i am scared to open it, due to availability
do you have any suggestions
What’s the name of the bottle they blended so we can look out for it?
It’s the pinhook vertical series 8 year
Your boy, Will looks JUST LIKE his momma!!
yeah he does lol!
@@Brewzle you have a beautiful family. Lucky man
WHooo hoo
Amazing video! Could you please try next Fernet Branca with Coca-Cola? Very popular drink here in Argentina!
Ice
Fernet Branca 30% or 40%
Coca-Cola 70% or 60%
Gentle stir and I hope you enjoy it!
Great video. Just a bit hard to hear the other people in the room.
We are definitely working on changing our audio setup in videos like this.
I am confused. If you start with 150 samples, consolidate them to 15 blocks and remove three blocks, are you not down to 12 blocks or 120 barrels? Where is the 100s of options?
I got few bottles left if you’re interested in grabbing any bottles drop a comment and it can be shipped to your doorstep 🥂
Heh, where Brewzle had to learn to spit out, lest he consume 150 different whiskeys and die from alcohol poisoning.
This is what it looks like when a frat house decides to go into the Bourbon business. Love the show but not sure this was a good reflection on this business.
How do you think it sheds a bad light?
@@BrewzleI'm also at a loss
show more of the brunette
Can I be honest? I don’t like these guys 🫣 love Brewzle, trust TJ with my bourbon life, but these guys…I don’t like these guys.
Great video!
Thanks!
