I don't care if he's "rehabilitated" and never offends again, he doesn't deserve one single day of freedom. The nature of his crimes means he is completely irredeemable.

Fortunately a week later they found her and had her go back for further information and he was found guilty of 2 counts of rape and one of robbery . He was released early for 'good behaviour' as he was a teaching assistant in the jail. He served only 8 years.
Years later, he murdered a woman when he was 70 years old, he stabbed her to death in his own home. Roxanne Hayes, she was a mother of three.
It's just insane that Pitchfork is being released. He is still a danger to women. And it's an insult to the victims that he's being released.

Another amazing upload, I have a 15 year old daughter, this case absolutly scares me to death, on 1 hand we want our children to walk around care free.. but then when i hear about this it destroys all my confidence in our justice system, and i want her to be able to protect herself to the fullest extent, what a sad world we now live in. I have a real niche for true crime.. to the point where i think, Colin Pitchfork will think so highly of himself now because everyone blew smoke up his arse, telling him how amazing he is for his "amazing work transcribing brail".. dont feed a narsassists confidence by putting his work on public display... my personal opinion, i think in his unrecognisable sense of personal greatness and brilliance he will think he will never be caught for commiting ANY type crime again. MY opinion also of a teenage girland just and normal human being ... this country needs to petition to keep these types of monsters locked up x x

He could easily slip back into his old ways, he certainly can’t be observed 24/7, so it would be perfectly possible, for him, to sexually assault & murder someone!!!! It belies belief that this has been allowed to happen!!! The poor families of the murdered girls, my heart goes out to them!!

So nice they have found him worthy of release. Someone who thought doctoring his ID to further get away with the crimes he committed. It terrifies me they have seen fit to release him. Same as the killer of Helen Mccourt who to this day has never revealed the location of her body, I grew up near Billinge and again thus terrifies and infuriates me. The poor families of victims 😢

I only came across Helen McCourt's case through the TV show "When missing turns to murder". There should be no bail granted whatsoever until he reveals where Helen's body is. The same goes for anyone who refuses to give up a body. To my mind it shows that there has been no rehabilitation, no remorse and he can spend the rest of his days behind bars so he can consider this. I'm not talking one of the "softer" prisons either, Wakefield or Frankland might give him pause for thought

It's the sentences that are wrong, the parole board can only delay his release for so long but if a judge gives him 35 years minimum sentence then they would have more power to keep him in prison.

I was arrested between the first murder and the second. Police were mistakenly looking for a teenage punk rocker, and there I was in Narborough, thumbing a lift right at the entrance to the lane where her body was found. What was I doing there ? I was hitchhiking to the Stonehenge festival down the M1 and the guy who picked me and my mate up was a drunken Saudi Arabian who was in the country for a wedding. His hire car randomly caught fire on the M1 before he managed to kill us with his driving so we walked to the nearest town, which was Narborough and slept in a bus shelter.
I was trying to get back to the M1 in the morning when the detective in charge of the case drove past us ( what's the chance of that ? ) and he jumped out and did the whole " you're nicked son " thing like The Sweeney or that bloke out of Life On Mars. It took some sorting out, but eventually they let us go - and I got a letter to carry around saying that I had already been interviewed, in case I got picked up again. We also got a lift back to the nearest motorway junction, which was nice of the cops really.
Bloody strange weekend that was, I decided to quit while I was ahead and hitchhiked back home...
