I first saw you on Britain's Darkest Taboos when Season 1 first aired and the way you revealed your insight into how abusers work made me realise I was being abused by some of my family members. This then gave me the courage to stand up for myself and communicate my issues with them, which we never did before. It was the beginning of a much healthier relationship. They apologised to me and now it's years later and we have a relationship which is so much more loving and open now. My mental health has improved. This has made it easier for me to form relationships outside my family. I always wanted to tell you that. You have no idea what you've done for me and family. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge and insight and helping so many families improve their relationships. God has sent you down as a mercy🙂❤

I know Emma doesn't judge and it's not our job to but it is a fundamental failure to safeguard your child and others to not alert the police of a pedophile

I watched this incredibly devastating court case through tears, truly one of the most heartbreaking, brutal cases I ever followed. he was brutally tortured and murdered by his mother Pearl, and stepfather Isauro Aguirre. Emma!!!!
I was wondering if you could cover the case of Tia Sharp, of New Addington, Croydon.
When I was living back at my mums, this was happening on my street. Police were going through our rubbish, our gardens... It was so scary. And the outcome was even more heartbreaking. I remember going to the little memorial that was set up after and I burst into tears. My neighbour asked why I was crying because I didn't know her, but that wasn't the point. It was the fact that this child, this baby, was taken away in such a way by someone who she loved and trusted.

I always wonder how she can really be ‘the most dangerous’ when her crimes don’t involve the worst type of criminality which is obviously crimes against children.
I know cases of women who have been charged with ‘perverting the court of justice’ but on something extremely serious that I fear more than Joanne.
Strength and love to the families of the victims. I was horrified by these crimes and this was balbaric and absolutely undeserved. 🙏
I’m sure your cases will make there way inside prisons Emma there will be a smartphone about somewhere I expect.

Her utter self confidence and arrogance is what brainwashed people into going along with her, couple that with being sexually available to many guys and a crazed killer it's great that she wasnt the smartest otherwise the count could've been so much more.
Another awesome video! Further cementing my huge crush and absolute love of your sarcastic attitude towards some of the most horrible people on earth! Great work!

The 'gorgeous blonde' comment regarding Dennehy's appearance was the same comment made about Tracy Andrews who murdered her boyfriend and then attempted to convince the police that he was killed by two men in a car which had been trailing them. In fact, there was eyewitness testimony that no other car existed. What qualifies as 'beautiful' is high subjective; however, there seems to be someone psychological need to attribute 'beauty' to these two women in order to give them some redeeming quality, for some bizarre reason. This is not limited to women; however, because several documentaries spoke about Ted Bundy as a 'handsome' or 'nice looking' guy.

Hi Emma. I've not had internet for a few weeks and I've really missed your channel. But I've got internet back and I'm on the catch up. This is one story I've wanted to hear more about and it was so engrossing. It can't have been easy to talk about such a scary killer. Joanne Dennehy is the most terrifying killer in British history. Also, I have a suggestion for a future video. An American guy called Elliot Rodger. I hope I've got his name right. He was known as the killer virgin. He went on a spree because girls didn't fancy him. Keep the good work up. Your channel is amazing, as are you

I know, for me, my female cycle made it almost impossible to manage my mental health. I used to tell my psychiatrist that I’m the lady that would kill someone and be acquitted during PMS. I was diagnosed with PMDD. At 41, I got a hysterectomy. Even though I still have my ovaries, my hormones are so much more balanced..so I do believe hormones can change you.

I was working so i missed you live Em (gutted!), but this was worth waiting for. Everything as usual was covered from start to finish in your own inimitable style, i was engrossed....... It also amuses me when you have your imaginary conversations with somebody off to the side lol, i love it :)
When i see or hear that these killers smirk, laugh and generally show such uncaring lack of remorse when caught, i always think of what they'll be like in 20, 30 years time, how they would feel then, When they begin to realise that they've wasted their whole life in prison and what they've missed because of their actions. Also that they will actually die in prison ......Would they still have the same attitude? Would there be any regret? Would they still smirk about their crimes?
For instance, the Manson girls, when they're singing, laughing and joking throughout their trial, then when they mature and realise that their is life over, they show remorse, fight for parole and beg to be released.......Some of these killers aren't smirking or laughing then!!
Anyway, thank you for a fab video Emma and i'm ready for the next one....take care :) xx

Some of this happened in hereford my town, one of the guys she stabbed walking his dog just down the road from me,and I walked my dogs in the same area it could of been me or any one at that time. The guy still walks his dog every day in the same area. He must relive it every day he walks down that road. The other guy she stabbed and took his dog. Sadly he passed away some time later, he was an old man and apparently he was never the same man again.

I wonder if she was abused as a child and blocked it out and never told anyone. The fact that her sister turned out so well adjusted is interesting.
And I have some anecdotal experience to corroborate this.
I lived with a woman who was abused as a child and she was a complete mess. Manipulative, substance dependant, habitual liar, abusive to her 14 year old daughter. Enjoyed violence. Lots of failed relationships.
Meanwhile her sister had a stabl and committed relationship, she had a good job. Overall very stable and well adjusted person.
Just the fact that she has such a sudden shift makes me wonder.

Another sad intriguing story of a life gone wrong!
I like true crime because I like to see the history and psychology and reasoning behind these awful realities. But I’m finding that we never really understand the why behind these people and their crimes. One of the frustrating parts. There is definitely a Dark evil that inhabits some of these people.
Stay safe Emma! Looking forward to next time!
