Verve 2 one of the best most versital bikes ever made. It's my go to bike.

Picked one of these up a couple of weeks ago - I’m one of those riders you describe. Interested in fresh air, sunshine and exercise. Don’t race, don’t need to impress anybody and this fits the bill. I call it my “Dad Bike”.

Thanks for the Video. I Love my Verve 2 and think its Darn Sexy :) You missed on a couple technical details. Verve 2 has a 3 * 8 drivetrain, not the 3 * 7 you stated. Verve 3 is 2*9, not 2*8. Also the Verve 1 & 2 come with the same tires.

The only reason I didn’t consider a Verve 3 is because it doesn’t come with a 1x drivetrain. I like the upright seating position, but the 2x front rings are just useless on flat pavement…. So I just prefer to keep it simple with the 1x drive trains on the FX3 & DS3.

Thank you. I bought my Trek Verve 2, on February 6, 2021 here in Oregon. Idk when but probably next Friday, I’m taking off with it back to Navajo Nation in northern Arizona. I absolutely love this bike. Question. I want to put a front basket on my bike if possible. I put on the Trek Touring Front Rack in the front. I’ve noticed the rack itself has 4 holes in it, and if you look inside hole, you can screw something in. I’m wondering if that’s for a basket? Can you put a front basket on them, in the front? Thank you from a cannabis farm.

Thanks for commenting, and asking the question, Navajo Blue. I have the same touring rack on my trek 920. That being said, the rack itself will support 50lbs. As far as a basket/bag is concerned, I would choose one that is the appropriate size for your handlebars, mount to the bars and use the rack as a secondary mounting point and form of support. This way you are not limiting your options. Ortlieb and Revelate make excellent bike bags.

@@GetOutArizona I was going to buy verve 3 today and have 2nd thoughts because I feel with like it’s to boring now lol. I understand that any youtube video is personal opinion and everyone’s is different. The verve is comfort #1 speed and off-road aren’t priority.

They are pricey bikes but definitely worth it. Trek bikes are amazing to ride compared to box store bikes.
