Hi guys and welcome to this in-depth comparison review of the Trek Verve 2 Disc and Verve 3 Disc bikes. The Verve Series is a comfort hybrid line of bikes manufactured by Trek. Comfort hybrid are designed for comfort above everything else. This means you can use them for daily city travel as well as mountain trails.

The main difference between the Verve 2 and 3 Disc is the drivetrain and gear speed. The drivetrain refers to the gear levels of the front and back wheel axles. The Verve 3 Disc 2021 is the first Verve bike to use a 2 by 9 drive train, meaning it is an 18 speed gear. This means there are two gears on the front and 8 on the back axle. The gearswere designed this way for easy operation and switching between gears. On the other hand, the Verve 3 Disc retains the 3 x 8 drive train in previous versions of the Verve model. This also means it is 24 speed bicycle. It’s ideal for rough terrain as well as leisure biking with your family.

I just went to the bike shop to look at a Verve 3 disc low step. Has a spot to mount bluetooth but not included, tires are not tubeless and the handlebar is not gel.....
Makes me wonder how bad the info is in all of Fit Labs videos because this one is waaaaay off. And yet they leave it up.
Verve 3 is a 2x9, not 2x8, as detailed by the narrator in the video.

It is also available as a 1x9.
it says verve 3 2021 has 2x9 gears and then says the verve 3 has 3x8 gears ...

I went to a bicycle shop to buy a verve 3. The bike doesn’t come with Bluetooth capability stated in this video.
Fit Lab has lost all credibility after putting this Video out. Pictured bikes don't match the narration, inaccurate facts. Very sloppy work.
This video is terrible. Pictures of electric bikes mixed in with regular bikes and the information is incorrect.

I like the looks of the Verve 3 in the last picture but it doesn't look anything like the one in my bike shop.
Too much inaccurate information I didn't find out about until I went to the bike store!
It’s like you just read a flier to us.
Only made it to the first minute .. then started reading other comments to see if I was the only one. If you are interested in these bikes look elsewhere!
6:53 Why do you say the "Verve 3 is fitted with Duotrap S" when it isn't?? That's an optional accessory. As everyone else is saying, this is a confusing and frequently inaccurate video. Save face and take it down and try again doing proper research and quit wasting everyone's time.

I agree, confusing explanations and photos. Needs to be redone by someone else.
This is inaccurate.
Both these bikes come with 1x cranksets.
