Great video. For carpet onroad, I like to use the optional larger diameter steering wheel. It helps mechanically tame down the twitchiness of the car.

Great information. It's all in the comfort.

I love these videos, I just got a 10px last week. Been busy learning this thing and hobbywing settings for 1/8 ebug at same time. Your videos have been great, and your vid with Spencer on HW settings as well. Thanks! Saw ya at Motorama but I'll see ya at LCRC again this year!!!
-oh and I used the silicone casing from 10g wire to put over my brake side of trigger. Have used nitro tube in past but this is thinner for fit, first time I heard the soldering trick!

Great video Adam. Something I found that works good ,is Fuel Tube on the trigger. That really helps snug up the feel for breaking.

Just upgraded from 4PKS to 7PXR and love it after dropping and extending wheel. Still getting used what I refer to as reverse gap (the distance between full throttle & full reverse), and it seemingly being longer than the 4PK for whatever reason. Still making adjustments.

I've never found a radio that feels great. I had the Sanwa M12 for years and bought the M17 & Futuba 8pk or whatever it's called when those came out in 2019. I haven't done much racing in the last couple yrs so I haven't tried the T10px. If I could get the Futaba software into the Sanwa transmitter case, that would be my ideal radio. I dont like how big the Futaba is. But I do Like the Futaba Aluminum trigger option. They have like 5 different sizes and the the M fits my finger incredibly perfectly.
I come from a raced RC in my early 20's and quit for 12 years and started racing again in 2014 background. During my break, I got into sim racing big time and we have load cells and force feedback and all types of goodies/technology. I wish a sim wheel company would design an RC transmitter. They'd be so much more ergonomic, so much less plastic toy feeling, and I'm sure they could get a trigger that has a better brake feel. I've always wanted a brake that gets progressively stiffer as you push it. I feel like If you could get this right, you could really improve the brake feel, run the brake setting on your ESC higher with more control. With the puny springs we have now, I feel like most drivers are just setting their brakes up as on-off switches so you slam the brake to 100% and use our ESC settings to make sure that 100% has just enough brake for that particular layout/traction level. This is not ideal, and not how any other racecar's brakes are set up. We should be modulating the brakes more and right on the edge of traction. Im sure the pros do this more so than us amateurs, but I've talked to several of them about their brake setting and transmitter setting and they're not super sophisticated with their setting either.

Hi ...for me it was the same! doing RC from 08-09 and Sim Racing from 06 until now. When I come back to RC 2023 my thinking about the brake feel was the same. But in RC you dont brake that much/long I would say in a 30sec lap you use the brake 5-10% in sim Racing or driving on real tracks the time you use the brake is much longer. So this on/off thing is more useable. I set up my brake once for maximal power on the hardest braking Zone and on the other hand as fine as possible for slightly balacing stuff. It also helps me to using a trigger Setup like Dakotah were my fingernail is permanently touching the brakeside of the trigger. This gives me the same feel like my foot is permanently laying on the brake pedal.

I've got my Airtronics M11X pretty much perfectly set up for long, consistent driving, but the controller I use on my computer for VRC Pro is a cheap Spektrum SLT3, and after about 5-7 minutes I start to find some cramping.

sorry if you've done one already and i can't find it, but if you haven't, can you do a video on the traction control setting on the 10px?

I don't use traction control, but will add it to my video list. I recommend checking out my video on Expo for the Futaba.
