    Good advice dude! I do the same with my bearings, I never throw them out unless they get too hot!!! Subbed!!!

    Use an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner.

    Ive noticed after racing dirt gets it the gearbox by the outdrives, is there anyway of sealing up the gap.. like a type of sponge or thick grease? To keep the diff bearings running smooth for longer...

      Actually there shouldn’t be any gaps where the outdrive is exiting the gear box .. if you notice a build up of dirt on the bearings face (facing outward) it’s do to excessive grease or oil .. just try to keep that area clean so dirt doesn’t stick.
      If there is dirt getting into the gear box itself, a bead of black grease between the chassis and the actual gearbox will help.

    Great Vid! You mentioned a cosmoline remover when degreasing your bearings... what brand cleaner do you use?

      Thanks Ariel!! It’s actually some stuff I get from work made by Sterling Laboratories, it’s called HD multipurpose solvent.

      Emi, I use 1up red CV oil in the cv’s and Cow RC udder butter lightly on the gears surface.
      Thanks for watching!!

      I use WD40 chain lube for the gear in the gear box, it's tacky and doesn't fling

    Have you tried universals instead of CVD's, what's the overall performance?

    • @noprorc9365
      @noprorc9365  Před 3 lety +1

      Hi Elias, I have many time over the years and actually again last weekend. Both are very good but when it comes down to it, I prefer the cva’s. To me they just seem to provide less chassis roll, better grip , and overall better lap times on the clock.
      The car just seems better especially navigating your way the the infield of the track.
