On a side note, all the bands you mentioned in the beginning made me think you would really enjoy Textures. I pretty much literally have the same top artists as you apparently, so I would imagine they'll be right up your alley :) Their song Awake would hit you just right I bet 👌🤘

Powerful track, gives me lot of "say that you will" vibes but more full. Did you listen to any other VOLA tracks other than whats on youtube?? I remember a while you asked what you should check out and These Black Claws by VOLA had a pretty good response :P

Notice the reuse of choir samples from the previous album at about 6:40 of this video. I bet the new album will have more of these easter eggs, and maybe even some greater meaning behind linking songs like that.
I like it. That synth at the start alone (I think it's synth) sells it for me. I can't compare them to anything else I've heard either. Their stripped-down, almost poppy nature has grabbed the affinity of my friends I've shown them to who aren't necessarily into metal at all.

Believe it’s a guitar if you watch the offering live that opening is done by the guitarist but it very well could be a synth
Only the first time gettin a spin o'this new song here . And yeah, theres some really nice shimmering ripples of sound in both the music and voice that weigh in big time here. I cant see it reaching the same levels of soaring peaks that say, "Higher" takes me, but this is a quality song. I think too that, songs like this absolutely deserve radio play. When ya consider the tripe and shite that apparently is considered melodic on mainstream radio, its a shame that something as melodic and meaningful gets left out. I bet one play of this on any station would get a following soon after. I can see this reaching fans of anyone from Coldplay to Deftones.

Man love that you like Breaking Benjamin, they’ve been one of my favorite bands forever!
Is it bad? No. Does it have the energy or the powerful melodies that a second single of the album would need? Not for me. I wouldn't say it is boring but it is more of a song that is deeper in the album for you to discover later. Alkaline was on repeat for weeks. And after listening to "The love you want" 5 or 6 times now I feel that I will not listen to it again until the album comes out. Just being honest here. Sleep Token is one of my favorite bands currently.
