As a former truck driver, I wish these had been around back then. At $1000 to $1500 for a heavy wrecker to come get you out of trouble, these things would have paid for themselves MANY TIMES over.

im thinking a bit of three inch steel channel iron will do nicely ,,, add a couple of flats to hold strap in the groove ,,, maybe trim the section down a bit to clear guards ,,,, job done , total cost ,,, a fiver ,, great idea though

They didn't mention to not put them where the valve stem is. My son laced a chain around the tires n wheels on our dump truck and tore out a valve stem. He saved a wrecker bill but we had to tear down a tire.

Phil Lowman common sense would have saved the stem.

I made my own set of chains for my truck, takes less than 10 minutes per axle, and I spent a whopping $30.00 for everything!
NOT going to pay $229.99 per set for my truck! That's a ridiculous price for a few dollars worth of product that I can make myself in my shop.

I like it. Simple and works good. But i don't buy this , I will do this myself at home.

200 bucks each? I will have to get a better paying job than driving a truck to afford that.

Still too much right now I made my own set with left over straps and half cut square tubing for only $25 and I made extras just in case.

1 commercial call to a wrecker is more than $200. Capitalism works.

Jason Hendrix I paid $ 465 buck for a service guy to bring fuel out . The tank on my truck wasn’t transferring the fuel. My tanks and lines was messing up

Hi Mihail, I'm sorry to hear about the issues with TruckClaws, and suggest that you contact them directly since I do not see an order through iowa80.com from you. When you call, ask about their 'military grade' TruckClaws, (844) 362-5297. Thank you.
