Genuinely funny, the impersonations are what put him over the top
He’s the only one alive that didn’t ruin his career by making to many ridiculous movies. He’s comfortable where he’s at and good at it
Often times he seems to carry the whole show on his back. He can make a ho-hum sketch really funny just with his facial expressions.

Damn dude. How old are you? This sketch was actually pretty funny, but I think most of the time Keenan is pretty lame. Not to mention, there are plenty of other SNL legends I would put way ahead of Keenan for a hall of fame nomination... Steve Martin, Bill Murray, Will Ferrell, Dana Carvey, Chris Farley, just to name a few.
That audience did not deserve this skit. Kenan did an amazing job, hes the goat

This is the only time I've ever seen him mildly diverge from doing like 3 different voices and it's really not that different. I like him, but he's definitely not the greatest of all time.

I love how Kenan so often both inhabits the role but also gives that subtle wink of being outside the role, too. Like he recognizes the absurdity of a line and you see it in his eyes. He projects a warmth. It’s like hanging out with a friend.

The reason Keenan is always hilarious is simple: he's natural comic. A lot of the cast of SNL are academic comics. So sometimes some skits dont work because they aren't naturally funny. Not taking away from their talent but a lot of is based off other comics from the past that they can't outdo. Keenan has learned from past comics but also has a natural talent to be funny. Some are just born with it. I love him and think he is the best thing on SNL. He turns mediocre scenes into funny ones. He saves failing scenes altogether. Theres no one as versatile or adept as him on the show.

It’s true, higher education makes a pretty penny selling the dream that you can be whatever you want to just by taking some classes, but the truth remains that some people just have natural talent. When that’s developed through hard work and dedication nothing can match it. Kenan is the best!

So do ALL the ppl on the SNL skit "The Californians". I think these ideas are pitched last minute bc they aren't sure how they'll do. So many skits get done at dress and just get 'cut for time'
If you watch the video about the guy that does the Cue Cards he talks about how often the script can change and some are like 5 minutes before while others can be right up to the sketch. Plus Lorne is not a fan of the cast and hosts going off script. It was very cool to hear the from the Cue Man himself about his job. :)

He was released because a prosecutor promised he wouldn't get charged, which then lead Cosby to make incriminating statements, and then another prosecutor charged him, breaking the original promise.

I remember watching the Cosby Show when I was younger. There was an episode where Cliff Huxtable talked about liking to put chips in his hoagies. The way he talked about it with such passion and enthusiasm had me sold. I had to try it myself. For years and years afterwards I put chips in my sub sandwiches, then a few years ago I suddenly stopped. I wonder if I subconsciously stopped because I associated chips in sub sandwiches with Bill Cosby and I stopped seeing Bill Cosby as a man of virtue after well, you know.
