Great Podcast. Should have asked him what he thinks about Lane Hutson and his ceiling. So many "experts" writing him off because of his size and skating. You can get bigger in the gym and improve skating; look at Jake Evans for example. His skating was awful in his younger years and now he's one of the Habs fastest skaters.

Guhle is a third tier D because he does not have one single HQ asset.I am not saying he will never get there but for now the ONLY HQ D we have is Matheson miles better than Guhle and Struble has some upside with toughness and a good responsibler D that can also make heads up passes.Guhble is more like a sloppy D that will mess around in his own end and not always make good decisions with his passes and he will also get caught up ice which is again making bad decisions.
Right now this minute the Habs have ONE legit first line player >>Matheson Suzuki and Cole are second line players everyone else is still AHL quality.We could send ANY of those other players down to the AHL and none of them would put up numbers.

None of them would clear waivers so putting up points in the AHL will not work out well. Guhle will get better with age, Dmen take longer.
