  • An update on my Wars of the Roses project that's also my first (of what I hope will be a few) entry into November's Wargamers Anonymous monthly challenge - this month's theme is "troops".
    I've painted some mercenary Pikemen using the Perry's 28mm set, which were a joy to put together and paint. My thanks to Martin from the 7thson CZcams channel (go check him out) for his suggestions re flags & colours he gave me when I was first considering Scottish pikemen for a Lancastrian army a month or two ago.
    I welcome any comments or suggestions...more on this project coming soon!

    Perry Figures are so beautiful. One of the best minatures out there. I probably end up buying all their plastic sets haha :D

    Very nice. Like the transition of the final unit between you showing it painted and getting It based. What do you use to get that lovely shading effect? An ink wash or a poly ... or neither of the above!

    • @BitesizeWargaming
      @BitesizeWargaming  Před 3 lety

      I used GW Contrast paints on most of it...that might account for the shading? (...or did you mean on the bases?)

      @@BitesizeWargaming no, the figures. Contrast paint would fully explain, thanks, very effective.
