Great approach. Your diet almost sounds Ketogenic. I practice Jiu-Jitsu & hit the gym faithfully, and minimum carbs w/ next to know sugary fruits bog me out on those mats. Only when I keep grains moderate (I only eat certain ones), veggies high, meat low & things like dates & figs is when I have the juice to endure that physical load. I just stumbled across your channel. I like it! Blessings!🤙🏼

I can't eat leftovers too many histamines. 😞

When you can't lean on leftovers too often, try focusing instead on 'throw together meals' of fresh foods such salads or crock-pot preparations with low-histamine foods and plenty of moisture (more moisture tends to maintain or even lower histamine levels while baking/frying/grilling can increase histamine levels). Consider prepping veggies for a robust salad or to add to the end of protein preparation for less work to do at a meal. You might also talk to a nutritionist or integrative physician about using specific supplements to support your body's response to histamine, including enzymes like DOA (diamine oxidase) which can lower your response to histamines in foods.

Eating all day means I will be making insulin all day…my info tells me giving your body a rest (fasting) means you are also likely to lower glucose and burn stored fat. I know people who eat all day like you, but are not as metabolically compromised as I am, and dont necessarily have as much weight to lose.

I like almond butter but I LOVE organic Peanut Butter! Is that a bad thing? I usually have 2 Tbls of PB with a small apple in the afternoon when I'm not having hummus and carrots.

I'm not a big fan of peanuts. They are actually legumes, not nuts, and are high in omega-6 fatty acids. One problem with peanuts is that they are highly susceptible to contamination during growth and storage, which can lead to infection by a fungus which can lead to cancer. Peanuts also contain amino acids. Too much of this (also found in aspartame, processed lunch meat, sausage, soy, wheat, and some preservatives) damages neurons and causes cell death, and is associated with stroke and other neurological diseases. Almond butter and cashew butter are much better choices.
