What do you think about the X100VI? Is it a camera you would use, or is it overhyped?
I would love to own one of these...
I would love to use one of these
I would love to have one. It has cool style. You wouldnt happen to want to just send me one...maybe...😁😎📸
Do you teach photography?. If so, I would love to join your sessions.
Love this style of content from you, even though we see it so rarely. I’m continuously surprised and overjoyed at how much ppl still care about photos in such a video-centric age
I wasn’t ready to wait months so I just bought an xt5 instead. I am so in love with it. Glad I made that decision instead of waiting forever for the x100vi.
Utilizing the one sunny day we had in the city!! Great shots and love and appreciate the effort put in making this video!
What a GREAT video!!!
Transitions and narration is perfect. 👏🏽
love the images and the preset edits! i'm seriously considering one, but of course it's pre or back ordered in my area great video!
This is the best take I've heard/seen on this camera. A good photographer notices the details in the noise, and you did that with this perspective too. Thank you.
Most waited video of fujifilm🙌💗
Well said!
Had a good time shooting this!
I really like the haze effect you added
Very nice shots and transitions ! :)
😊
I love the cinematic review style
Best colours and WB ever... so beautiful, I love it.
Thanks for your video. I like that you added interest by using a mist filter ... especially on scenes where the sun was a little lower in the sky and warmer, softening the highlights and enhancing the contrast a bit. You didn't mention the filter though unless you look at your equipment list. It's obvious to most, but some new to photography might assume that's what comes straight out of the sensor. I may be wrong and maybe you don't need to tell people everything.
nicely done... agree with your sentiments.
Just beautiful
Love that Nordic Tundra preset 😍
Coming soon!
I preordered one, yeah, probably because I thought it would be simple to acquire one compared to the X100V, but the more time goes on the less I am excited about getting mine (who knows when that will even be). Fuji is capitalizing on the scarcity/hype trend and I’m nervous it’s going to usher in a new wave of all camera companies doing this. It feels just as ridiculous as the drops/raffles for Jordans and “rare” aka intentionally limited sneakers.
My advice would be if you want one to wait for it and not overpay.
@@AnthonyGugliotta definitely! It’s a for-fun/travel purchase for me so that’s why I’m not even trying to shop around smaller stores and just going to wait for my B&H but the accessories I ordered with it are getting so lonely waiting for their big bro to arrive 😂
Get a Nikon ZF. Retro + full frame goodness
❤love letter to photography and Toronto. Beautiful images and cinematography 📷
😊 thanks, we had a really fun time planning and shooting this!
I've shot Canon exclusively since the 90s, currently a R5. This is the first non Canon camera I've ever bought (still waiting though). I want something small I can throw into my handbag, yes I've bought into the hype.
For something for the handbag, did you consider the GRIII? No viewfinder of course.
you could also get an xt30ii with a pancake lens and save a grand.
Getting mine in a few days
Fantastic video.
Fuji color 😍
The more videos I keep on watching about this camera, the more impatient I get for my pre order haha
Cool Vid.
Is it possible to record vídeos using the film simulation mode?
I just learned that apparently you CAN use film simulations in video!
Hey man I'm from Toronto, would love to do some videos with you sometime
Where did you get this in Toronto? I preordered since march 1 and still no word.
i'm curious about this also, it's all preordered at all stores in canada :)
How do you achieve that vintage look in the video?
I added the filter we used in the description!
Please upload new Lightroom tutorial ❤
35mm f/3 FF equivalent so no selfies or landscape or wildlife, limited background separation for talking head, etc etc. With a lower dynamic range than an iPhone 15Pro (tested by CINED), poor-ish low light performance, no flip screen, poor battery life, not great for videography, low resolution hybrid evf. It’s not for me but it is a very pretty camera :)
Hello, what would you recommend instead in the same budget range? Thanks
@@abletodoit3051 If you want to stick to APS-C maybe something like the X-S20, but personally I went to Full Frame which ended up being cheaper/smaller and lighter for me: czcams.com/video/aJYSz4mK95Y/video.html
is fujifilm x100 vi better of fujifilm xt series better for travel photogaphy?
If you want the ability to change lenses you might want to consider the XT series
Also look at the Fuji X-S10 or X-S20,
I have x100 vI ….. should I change?
Really enjoyed making this video with you Anthony! Let me know any other time you want to get together and work on a project!!
The most enjoyable camera ever 📷
I just want a Gr4...
Not being a hater but I don't understand whats so great about this camera. The best thing I like about it is its retro look and design.
Thanks for saying this camera isn’t a Sony A1. I’m concerned that my big guy will get jealous of the new X100VI. I want them to be friends.
😅👍❤
If I get this camera is to shoot it with the film simulations not raw!
I was rubbing my eyes and blinking a lot throughout the entire video lol
Is that a good thing or bad thing? 🙂
My issue is with this camera it is essentially a very good street camera but if you're not really into street Photography then there's really not much point in buying it because yes you can shoot landscapes with it. You can probably shoot portraits with it at a pinch, but you're not going to want to take a few images with this camera shooting portraits you're gonna go back to your bokeh monster.... And likewise, if you shoot landscapes you're gonna go back to your big landscape camera. It is very good for a travel camera or street Photography, but frankly I get bored within street Photography within 10 minutes. I'm not a street photographer I've been taking photos of random things just to be quite boring and I don't live in a very big place so it's not a lot of streets, but on a positive, I think the camera will produce amazing images and that is a good thing because I actually think the previous edition didn't produce amazing images, but had a cult following. That said adding ibis makes it a great maybe corporate event camera as well so you could go and shoot an event with it where you just need to get lots of photos in a short space of time so I do think that it could be a really cool camera I'm just not sure it's gonna be for everyone but I think it will produce great images. I have an XT5, but I know I own that camera is that I wanted a camera that was smaller but interchangeable lenses. Would I look at this as a second camera, probably not because I have a GFx camera for my landscapes. If you lived in a city and you are a busy person and you have only got two or three hours a week disposable time to go and take photos. I think this is a great camera you can walk around. Be discreet and take great photos but if you are a person that is really into Photography and I think this is probably not the camera for you because it's growth is limited after awhile you will start taking very similar photos and there will be this effect that your photos will all look the same and that comes with this style of camera. That's not a bad thing. By the way that's what you wanna do
The best camera for those poor enough to not afford a Leica but stupid enough to pay resale prices for this on ebay.
I want it, but I know my limits☠️ so imma out of it.
really like this style of video. The most random pet peeve however: Everyone says X100 SIX but then X100 Vee...why not X100 FIVE? anyways as you were
That's the proper way to say it according to Fujifilm
@@AnthonyGugliotta thanks for the info, didnt realise it was an official thing...i will take my pet peeve and sit in the corner 😂😅
You understand he's saying this ironically right?
Overhyped. X100F can be had for $800 and the IQ difference is marginal at best.
It isn't about IQ, any modern APS-C camera gives marginal IQ difference.
@@zed351 so it’s about autofocus then? Because the F in single point is fast enough for 90% of situations.
@@Chazyfizzlez
For you. It was too slow for me. No, it isn't just about AF though.
@@zed351 true, it's about the leather strap.
@@hanumanguy
I do like a good leather strap...
There is no such thing as a “best camera”. Good luck shooting fast-action sports with this camera.
Sounds like a thirst trap...
