My red one just came today. I have the likes of a Submariner, a Breitling Navitimer, numerous Seikos, a Tag F1, and a Tag Monaco in my collection, but this is my first G-Shock ever. I saw the red and immediately wanted it...so, I did what any crazy person who loves watches does and ordered it immediately.
Since they are sold out , its pretty sure Casio will release a dozen of other versions , full carbon fiber ? steel ? This watch is a win for me , better than the D1 Milano for same price
They are really easy to disassemble , imagine someone putting the red hours marks circle on the all black , or just the red watch hands on the full black
There's at least one now, the GA-2100TH-1AJF, with a positive display (and a funky '90s theme for better or worse). If it were me, though, I'd spend an extra ~$100 and get the GRB100-1A3 Gravitymaster. Yes it's thicker but superior in every other way: seconds hand, tough solar, bluetooth sync, larger positive display, and better looking imo. Great videos. Keep 'em coming.

Really, really like this watch. The negative display is an issue. A function like the SW and you have to push the light so many times to operate is disappointing. Hopefully, they offer one like this but without negative displays

The size for digital display is so disregarded. But this is a great choice for those who want a casio watch without a second hand mechanism and very shock resistant.
I think it's one of, if not the most beautiful G-Shock Casio ever produced. Yet one thing has always bothered me about G-Shocks and unfortunately this one is no exception: They're (way) too large.
it's confusing when you're pressing buttons soo quickly.. I'm trying to set the correct time/date on my 2100... could you go slower or make a new vid that shows us dummies how to set this model correctly.. the directions are even more confusing. thanks! Joe

Different models have different displays - the module PDF states as such. And the light duration can be adjusted as well.

I tend to agree, though this one isn't that big. Maybe a square one is better for you, like the GWM5610.
