I bought this watch with a negative display but couldnt get on with the negative display so i took the watch apart and took off the negative film, it now looks cool with a positive display great watch had it now for about 3 years and still works like new,i have put a black nato strap on it now.😀

I’m sorry but I’d rather have this than a Rolex. Modern manufacturing processes, availability of materials, quality control, and technology just in my opinion have caught up to Rolex and other high price watches. A sub $1,000 watch will serve you just as well even better than a 5,000 or 20,000 dollar Rolex.

Scrap the clear strap and bezel . Put an orange bezel and strap to match the orange surround on the module and it would look great

Great review, I'm in Australia and just bought this watch direct from a Japanese online store. It arrived in 3 days and I think it's stunning. While the multi band time sync doesn't work down under there is an app you can get on your phone that mimics the signal and works quite well but takes a couple of minutes to sync.

Ok seriously, the features of this watch blow most LCD digital watches out of the water (dare I say even some of today's modern smart watches, since LCDs have "always on display" by definition); the accurate pie slice "time timer" feature is an incredible rarity among any countdown or stopwatch-equipped watch. Absolutely love the utility-aesthetic intersection. Now if only they could've made the calendar years a bit more forward-minded. Either way, super cool watch, hope you get as much joy out of wearing it as we have seeing it!

Is this for ocean fishing or can you use it with freshwater lake fishing

This is straight up cool and extremely unique, really wish this would be reissued (with an illuminator!). Yes, normally knowing what phase the moon is would be pretty useless, but I really dig it. Would buy it in a heartbeat.

At least the lug points have holes all the way through so there's no fishing for the lug in between the strap and the case.

I saw this in the jewelry display case at Kmart in 1985 when I was in first grade. I thought the running man and segmented display were so cool. I begged grandma and it became my birthday present. I then kept running up and down the block trying to beat my best time. I wore it about a year until the Super Mario Bros and Zelda watches caught my eye. Thanks for the memories.

I had the AE-20W back in the day; a gift from my grandma. I got it when I was about 11 or 12 years old. I spent countless hours just staring and watching the display; playing with the stopwatch feature and trying to catch the splitsecond to exactly 00 😂 I loved that watch so much, I wish i took better care of it and still had it with me today.

Great video. I had one of these watches in high school and LOVED it. I too was mesmerized by the running man. I probably still have the watch somewhere in the attic but remember the strap ripped after many years of use. Thank you for making this video. It brings back such good memories.

The only Casio watch I am somewhat interested with, just because I am interested with the moon and the sun data. Seems like there is no other simple watch that show this data??! Models like G-Shock GBX-100 are too pricey and have too much useless complications. I dont like smartwatches with notifications and pulse measure either. Yikes. Also I am not a fan of the overall bulky/tech look of G-Shock series anyway.
