- Changing the clock spring on a 2007 Yukon Denali. Should work for Yukon, Tahoe, Silverado, Sierra, Escalade 2007-2013
Includes how to remove the airbag and steering wheel
Good stuff. I have to do this soon. Tanks for posting.
Thnks it works for my avalanche 2007!
You forgot the important thing,, disconnecting the battery first of all
I just did this on a Silverado and now the radio won’t power on
Are you a professional, or just crazy? Awesome video ̶.̶ !!!! Can you do, how to get the switches off the column?
Exelent.
I'm working on a HHR that has the same type steering wheel that will not come off. What steering wheel puller will remove this
You can usually borrow or rent a standard puller at most auto parts stores. The key is using the correct bolts.
I just wiggled it hard until it came off
Does the orange clip have to break off or just be pull out once clock spring installed? Mine did not break like most videos I’ve watched. The whole orange tab just came out.
Pulled off is fine.
Do you have heated steering wheel
Not on this one
Did your air bag code clear after installation or did you have to manually clear it with a scanner
It depends on your code but many times once you fix the problem it will clear itself. It is a good idea to scan it to verify the code as many things can cause the airbag light.
What is the name of that part or do you have the part number
I'd like to know the same thing. I know its a clock-spring, but what part number is it? I have a 2007 suburban 2500 with no horn and airbag light on.
Will the air bag deploy if I unlock it
No, it will not.
@@YourCarGuyDR do I have to disconnect the battery before doing so?
@@chriservin9328 disconnecting the battery will ensure that the air bag cannot deploy. You only need to remove the negative cable.
