- The UK government is providing Ukraine with the largest aid package in the country's history, amounting to 500 million pounds. Antony Blinken plans to reiterate deep US concerns about China's support for Russia's defence industrial base as well as human rights abuses. The Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe recognized the Russian Orthodox Church as an instrument of Kremlin propaganda and influence.

I can't comprehend people who don't understand this simple logic.. Although helping Ukraine is a right and noble thing to do, the money and weapons we all give to Ukraine isn't a waste of money or giving it to some distant country that doesn't matter.. No, every dollar, pound and euro given to Ukraine is an investment into our own security and a down payment for the future where our own soldier's blood doesn't have to be spilled.
It is so simple to understand, so I'm guessing that people that don't get it are either dumb as a post, ignorant or have alterior motives.
While our country is weakening in defence and soldiers and lacking security cause we give them too much. help is good but it's not enough to protect us for long ?
When you see so many Russian trolls reacting negatively, you know it's good news for Ukraine. Thank you PM Sunak & the UK government.

The US was obviously not happy about something that's why they delay the weapon delivery for so long. Now perhaps Ukraine agreed on something and the US starts sending aid again. I'm worried about Ukraine. I really hope the intensions of the US are positive for Ukraine.

Its great news the uk is stumping up more kit, but we all now why, sunak and his cronies are on the way out and hes desperate to be seen doing the right thing.
500 million pounds is about one hundredth of the US aid. The US has about 5 times the population of the UK, so it's very little aid.
The UK government isn't spending enough on it's own military, so it's not a surprise that the UK government is giving so little to Ukraine.
That money won't help ukraime is beyond help need see large amounts of unalived Ukrainians to.make up for this as a brit I'm beyond angry
