The biggest loss for Russia has been the loss of respect and reputation of Russian weapons and soldiers. The entire world is watching Russian everything fail and fail and fail, time after time after time. I always knew they sucked balls, now they've proved it. They can't even beat a country with no Navy and no Air Force in an "at home game", how could they ever fight an armed country in an "away game", much less the US at anytime anywhere? Pathetic.

De onde vocês da UATV tiraram esse número de 3.000 tanks? Eu acompanho a contagem do comando central militar da Ucrânia desde o início dessa invasão e o total de tanks russos destruídos já passa de 7.700, além de mais de 40.000 armored combat vehicles. Tanks são equipamentos muito valiosos para não serem contados quando um é destruído.

yes the claimed numbers will be always higher due to propaganda reasons.
But also Oryxs just takes visualy confirmed losses, which are either backed up by Video or Picture and which gets geolocated.
You can assume taking pictures is not your highest priority in a conflict, so a lot of losses will not be able to get visualy confirmed.
So you can assume Oryx numbers will be an underclaim, how big the difference betwenn Oryx numbers and real ones are, is a room for speculation.

Oryx is real data, every loss backed up, with video or pictures.
This method is not really acurrat, because there will be quite some undercount, but its the best source for loss data we have.
Ukraine has also high losses in Oryx.
