A fairly long video this time, but it's necessary since there are technically two decks being shown here. The potential for even more decks is certainly there, too. And while there almost certainly have been people who have already showed how overpowered Gilded Dreams and Azhdaha are, most people tend to not use them in a way that takes the opponent by surprise. So while this video is about the decks, it's also about the necessary strategies to make the most out of some of the new cards in this update.

Thank you! That is the general goal: make unique and creative decks. Anyone can abuse broken mechanics and discover a "meta," but to make something unique, whether it be Character Cards, Action Cards, or the general playstyle itself, is much more difficult.

It is certainly a deck that can help you improve in the "quick-match" department. Especially with Klee, calculating how many dice you'll get back and need along with the damage output is pretty important.
The magic dice decks are really fun to play. Understanding how to use them was great from this video. Listening to your thought process for decision making really helps. Didn't think I would watch the whole video but I did! Totally worth it.

The scariest thing is really just how to play them. Most people reveal the play too early, but saving the dice generation until the end of the round is what really makes this a "trap."
You're like my favorite tcg CZcamsr, i remember watching Noelle's ramp deck and man, that deck lasted for some long time until oceanid got nerfed, i learn a lot of strategic ways of thinking and i'm getting more and more invested in tcg... I get excited whenever a new video drops.

I also use and like other decks from your channel, I just highlighted noelle's deck because it was the main deck i used for SO LONG

Haha, thanks. I still tend to say things like "this can be played and do this on him with this and that" which can be marvelously vague, but I'll eventually get out of that habit. Hard when under a time constraint for each round.

I was using that strategy before with someone's idea called "infinite dice". I did change the characters to Hu Tao, Yelan and Xiao but it was not that great. However replacing Xiao with more defensive unit that could buy me some time to pull the correct cards like Layla was perfect. It gives me a lot of fun to see enemies end turn while i just begin to create my dice madness. There was one deck i faced against that i had troubles dealing with so far and it was the same deck i used to use before (funnily enough) with Eula, Mona and Wanderer. Both decks are crazy good in their own right. Also the new monster cards are broken and any deck that has them is crazy hard to play against.
Pretty much everyone discovered how broken Gilded Dreams was within the first few hours of the update's release.
I didn't bother making this video until now since I was much more interested in the more novel "Taxation Deck" that I made a video on a few weeks ago.

Great video! I don't really like magic decks, because i don't see any counterplay aside from just hoping the opponent doesn't get the right cards, and thunder manifestation/azdaha don't help either.
Expecting it is the best defense. The artifacts and dice ramp can only be played so many times, so if a deck can withstand the gimmick, then it can likely win on the counter-attack.
Ngl you made me realize the strategy for tcg, before I was playing I just do "random stuff go!"
Well, with this update, those "random" decks can be a threat now.
Do you think yelan could also work as another card draw advantage character to use?
Yelan is pretty good with Card Drawing. Honestly, she works pretty well with Layla for even more Card Draw if her Skill Card is on her.

I feel like I've tried that before while coming up with this deck. I think it was just low on consistent damage, but the idea is fun. I would typically pair someone like Hu Tao or Lyney (actually made a deck with Lyney on a recent stream) with Yelan and Layla. Makes a nice stall into OTK kind of deck.@@darnbbb3851
Honestly just surprised they didn’t nerf the base max hp for these new cards like Signora with her revive and double element advantage, Azhdaha with his dice generation and multi element, e-girl with the initial +1 dmg on lighting prode. Might see some nerfs next patch though

This is a tricky question to answer. With this specific deck? No, not really. A Dice Trap is more of bait than standard control. But my previous Taxation Deck video featured a deck that very much played a "Control" style to pretty much the maximum that it can be played in the current update of Genshin's TCG.
