- DDs are overrated and Antler really just is broken. Just get poseidon anwyay. sub 6 is probably possible but i think its different weapon time.
Keepsake was Antler from Artemis.
Arcana was 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22.

Damn it was a crazy start and it just kept getting better. This game is a blast. Kinda wish I didn't learn about this build because ever since it's all I want to play
i think they need to rebalance other weapons. Staff makes the game too easy. Melee is just so much harder esp against chronos.

@@AWY-LO I haven't tried this and my first few wins were with daggers using special spam and aphro boon, both with Melinoe aspect and the one that makes specials track enemies in cast. I haven't had a successful ranged run but those felt pretty strong so I can only imagine what a successful ranged run will feel like.

Do you have to never have unlocked the centaur arcana? Because it auto activates with this build and there doesn't seem to be a way to turn it off.

Is the mana bar glitched? how can you have 0 mana in every room and is this relevant?
Its a fear you start every floor with 0 mana and there is a card that buffs atk and spec if you dont have 100% mana. Hope that helps!

How did you activate all arcana without getting The Centaur to activate as well? I keep gaining +3 health and mana. Arcana 2,3,5,6,10,11,16,17,18,19,21,22 doesn't work.
Unfortunately the only way to do it right now is to have a save that doesnt have Centaur unlocked. We are hoping they take our feedback and have the arcana toggle-able in the future

since you use antler the entire game, how many runs did you take for you to get an early hammer into poseidonand aphrodite…
uhh i think it was only 30 ish on antler start and even then most are just hammer resets for double moonshot. Hera is a nice replacement for Poseidon and has a 636 time, so poseidon isnt necessary with antler.
what were you rerolling for at 2:55?
Either another poseidon or a non menu room so a free room could spawn. as Artemis and Nemesis can only be in non menu rooms

There was a heart on the door, would raise max health and just make it slightly more tedious to keep antler up
wait how does Antler exactly work? I thought you had to be at 20 health or lower to get crits but you're getting a bunch seemingly regardless of health?
It shows the description at the end. “No more than 30 health.” And they were only ever at 30 HP since they picked up no health increases
Momus staff + Double Moonshot makes every run so easy

Poseidon i think will get a nerf maybe Double moonshot. Aspect of Pan can be just as fast and Medea just needs some late game juice and its a possibility.

Keepsake is Antler from Artemis and Arcana was 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22. you will probably have Centaur unlocked which is fine, just makes it harder to have 100% uptime for Antler. you can run Vow of Scars to make it so you cant heal which will allow you to keep it up with Centaur unlocked you just have to take damage. also allows you to run Frinos if you want.

No, base health is 30. Maybe you have Frinos with you?

you don’t sadly, you just have to have it not unlocked (for the time being atleast, people have asked to make it toggleable)

is it worth it to take hades chamber in tartarus? I think it makes you do an extra chamber
Timer is paused in Hades chamber so it doesn't really matter for in-game timer. You'll see more enemies in the chambers after but his boon should hopefully make up for it
@@wmgriffin5602 I know the timer is paused but I think it pushes back the room counter so you end up doing an extra chamber compared to if you simply ignored the hades room. There is also the deal with the additional enemies as you pointed.

what were the testaments you had active?
like the fear? i think this one had 2 vow of fury, 2 of the timer one that name escapes me, vow of forsaking and the one that takes your mana away at the start of chambers.

@@drkfrst why did you take vow of forsaking? is it not risky since it could mess up your build?
@@jey2031 usually the boons you want are unlocked by the other boons you want. So for example, slip is unlocked by the poseidon special. Therefore you can't really get rid of slip and it eliminates the boons you don't want so it's easier to find the boons you need
@@jey2031 you mostly want poseidon special, slip, crashing wave and legendary, plus a dash or cast boon to activate origination (in this case weak dash from aphro) so it actually helps your build instead of messing it up, it eliminates other options
whats the arcana setup for this, i cant figure out how to take centaur off without staying on 27 grasp which seems suboptimal
Arcana was 2, 3, 5, 6, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22. Centaur is an issue, we use a save that doesn't actually unlock it funny enough. Its available in the Speedrunning discord if you're looking to get into speedrunning with it.

What's the reason for pausing the game?
So they can think about which boon to take but not have the timer running
the timer doesn't run when paused allowing you to see the door rewards and make a decision based on that instead of eating time and rushing. also allows you to get room layout and enemy spawns to figure out a proper route to clear the room.

Vow of Panic for 0 mana for the Huntress Arcana
Vow of Forsaking to make Kings Tide easier to get

arcana is in description and fear was Fury 2, forsaking, panic and desperation.
Anyone know how the special on that weapon is doing so much dmg? Even with the hammer upgrade, the special is a peashooter for me
They have Artemis' trinket which gives them high crit chance if they have 30 or less hp and since their max hp stays at 30 they basically have insane crits all the time
You're probably also using Melinoe's aspect which is much weaker. He's using the fully upgraded aspect of Momus, which does +30 special damage. That coupled with the Antler keepsake from Artemis, a Daedalus hammer that effects your special, and Poseidon's boon, makes your regular special insanely powerful and you can spam it forever.

Why did you go to Hades' room instead of progression? Wanted to roll -20% Chronos HP?
Time doesnt run in those rooms and Hades can give some decent boons. i think the goal here was damage when DDs are spent which is not ideal considering i only had the 1 anyway
@@drkfrst yeah i get that that clock's not ticking in this room. It's just that i heard Melinoё say that "more rooms = more enemies", don't know if it means that it will spawn more enemies with each room visited or it just means more fights if you take side rooms instead of progressing. Also since you had 1 full DD in Chronos fight you didn't even get +10% dmg from the Last Gasp?

the damage for DDs wasnt not ideal. I normally dont use no DDs so i just snapped to it without thinking about it.
